We stayed here for a weekend with our family of four and my in-laws. Was a great property, very close to Ace and rafting which is why we were there for the weekend. The hot tub was great for coming back after rafting! We enjoyed using the little firepit as well. Would come back again!

Check in was easy, house was nice. Grass was unusually long in front yard, neighbors deck overlooks the hottub area. Master bedroom sheets and pillow cases where dirty and the dryer vent wasn't hooked up. No extra sheets in the house. The owner did send someone to replace the sheets the next day. After that he mowed the lawn and took his cigarette breaks on the front porch.

The property is very clean and and cute. The huge tiled shower was an added bonus. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed including a few cooking things. The two queen beds were both super comfy! The hottub was super clean and very relaxing. Loved the fenced in back yard. We will be returing this fall.

Fine place to stay, close to NRG

The house was fine. We couldn’t find a lighter to use the little fire kit for the smores and had to go out & buy one. Because of the hill it feels like people could be watching you in the hot tub, despite the high fence. It was a pretty quiet street, close to some restaurants and close to the park if you’re going hiking, etc.

We stayed here as a family with children and 1 dog. Overall it was a very positive experience. Clearly much investment and effort went into the remodel of an older home. The color schemes were pleasing, and the bathrooms were the best updates. The arcade game was a big hit with the kids. Very close to Ace Adventure Resort (9 minutes). Hot tub was nice. General layout of the home felt very spacious.Below are some suggestions that I think would garner an additional star:-Cleaning could be a little more thorough - we found cobwebs under the kitchen cabinets and in the corner of the living room. Also, some of the outdoor furniture (back and front) was unusable because it was covered in bird droppings.-Some covering in the outdoor area (like patio umbrellas) would provide more shade, privacy, and protection against bird droppings. We didn't use during the day due to the heat and no shade. The next-door neighbor's rear deck (which they use frequently) is so close and looks down on the space that the privacy is non-existent. Every time I exited the hot tub I could see their doorbell camera staring at me. We barely used the space for these reasons.-A little fence on the left side of the house would make the yard enclosed and therefore more pet-friendly-The living room was lacking in seating, and the furniture looked nice but was uncomfortable. I suggest a more comfortable couch, add a loveseat or recliner, and shift it all to be directly in front of the TV.

Nicer home in the neighborhood

The home itself was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable overall. A couple suggestions would be…-yard was not mowed and grass was quite high-futon couch was very uncomfortable to sit for any length of time-gate at hot tub was twisted and did not on its own which made it hard for my wife to open and close-Neighbor at corner left for work at like 5am and truck was very loud and rumbled the house during weekdays

Fabulous!!

We spent a long weekend here for my husbands birthday. The house was perfect! Loved the decor and the hot tub! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner! I mean everything! The house was so cozy and in the best location!! Close to everything but still out of the busy areas! The host was so nice and informative. Overall a great experience and we are already thinking about coming back next year.

We were very happy to find a place to stay that was completely handicap, wheelchair accessible so our families could met up at! We only wish there were more TVs than just that in the living room. The master handicap shower was amazing! We will definitely consider utilizing this location in the future!

Wonderful Experience

The property was terrific! Quiet neighborhood, such a great location to experience New River Gorge, and a very comfortable home. Plenty of soft towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all provided. The bedding was wonderful. We were amazed at how perfectly the kitchen was stocked with so many great amenities (small appliances, cookware, utensils, soaps and towels, etc). We would certainly stay there again!

Spacious location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was huge! Tons of space, we especially loved all the little snacks, good towels, beds and pillows and the hot tub (and Ms Pacman game). This was nearby to all the things and in a residential area. The neighbors to the back yard are very close and the across the street neighbor was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The homeowners handled an issue immediately and graciously, I really appreciated their attention to our needs. We would recommend this rental.

New River Gorge Getaway

Thank you for having us. This is a great house for entertaining the family after a days hike at Endless Wall or Kayaking. We had a great time out and back here. We played bags in the courtyard and had some intense games of Jenga! This is an incredibly comfortable space to just relax and unwind. Top marks for the way it is put together.

Nice updates and comfortable landing place.

My best friend and two dogs stayed at the home as we visited New River Gorge NP. It was conveniently located to the park and offered a very comfortable landing place after longs days of hiking. We'd recommend additional skillets/frying pans as it was a bit hard to make breakfast with only one, but other than that all was very nicely appointed. Great getaway!

Beautiful home, perfect location and amenities!

We loved our stay here! The house was decorated beautifully. My son and husband loved the arcade game. We traveled to the area with our two young children and stayed very active during the day- hiking the waterfall trail, doing adventures at Ace adventure Park, and kayaking on Summersville Lake. We enjoyed coming back to this relaxing rental each night! The hosts made sure to make our stay extra special for our anniversary, too, leaving a card, flowers, and folded swan towels. I would definitely recommend!
