The cabin was cute and the beds were comfortable. The beach access was great, and the view from the cabin was amazing. We were even treated to watching a whale playing offshore ... from the living room! Loved the Deception Pass / North-North Whidbey location, and having Oak Harbor just 15 minutes away makes it very convenient.

Amazing views

Place is as described, right on the beach with amazing views! My senior dog loves the beach and this was perfect for her seeing as she isn’t as mobile as she used to be. She ran straight for the water every time. The house itself was very clean and had no issues with WiFi. Will gladly stay here again

Quiet, private, expansive views

Dated and well kept. You can tell they have taken care of it. Clear cedar master bath lacquered like a boat. Wood paneling in the rest of the house. It’s like a well-built cabin. Fireplace makes it toasty. Views from living, kitch and master are awesome. Plenty of room to spread out. Dogs loved it too.

Incredible beachfront location

My kids and I loved this place, the beach out front is perfect for families and the old school cozy cabin feel of the house was really fun. The house was stocked better than I've ever seen a vacation rental with little things that are appreciated like tissue boxes in every room, extra blankets, laundry detergent, sharp kitchen knives, etc. The fire pit out by the beach in the driftwood "forest" was perfect for a fire while the kids crawled among the driftwood. Great spot, we hope to return.

Wonderful place - a must stay

This place I has it all - beautiful views, beach combing, hiking/walking, wildlife watching, parks, and jets!!!! We keep coming back to this property because it’s peaceful but not far from adventure. The whole family enjoys!!

Beach front Respite

Loved the beach front location! Property description was accurate. We had a brief hiccup when a plumbing issue occurred, but both agent and owners were quick to respond and the issue was resolved. The house was well equipped with recent appliances and a fabulous grill outside. We would definitely rebook. Noted: shower drains too slowly.

Wonderful time at a peaceful place!

It was great to walk out our back door and up to Deception Pass. The property manager even helped us get back in when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house! Thanks for going above and beyond.

Great beach stay

Loved our weekend at the beach! House has character, beds were comfy, appreciated the well supplied kitchen and great outdoor space. Location can't be beat, we enjoyed deception pass before the crowds arrived, and the beach in the backyard is awesome. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Place - Lovely Location

We had a fantastic time this last weekend. We needed a bit of "away" time from our house here in Seattle after most of the past year in staying in and nearby. This place gave us exactly the getaway we needed for a long weekend. The place was super clean and a very cute house on the water with quick access to the beach. It offers super close access to everything we needed in the nearby town of Oak Harbor. Bonus was getting to watch a few navy planes come by for some landing practice. We lucked out with two beautiful sunsets too. Everything lived up to expectations with the bedrooms and living spaces. Getting to spend time in front of the gas fire in the evenings while watching TV with the family made for a peaceful and restful time too. We noticed the Netflix option on the remote and made use of that with our own account. One small hitch that didn't detract is that the wifi went out on our first night. It came back after a quick reboot of the router.

Getaway from Tumultuous Times

Our weekend away was filled with fantastic views, walks along the beach, sounds of song birds, and time together in a new location. The cabin and location were everything we hoped for! We will definitely return!!!

family reunion

Our 2 adult kids and their significant others joined my wife and me at this great Beach cabin. The location was perfect, right on the beach and within walking distance of Deception Pass. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit. My son and daughter's boyfriend took a dip in the Sound, too cold for me... We played games and had great family time in the cabin. Hopefully this will be repeated in the not-too-distant future...

Truly a getaway - beautiful and relaxing!

The stay a Deception Pass Getaway was truly amazing. The house was accurately depicted and had some cool interior (old looking but had a lovely cabin vibe to it). The check in process was extremely easy and all instructions were easy to follow. The master bedroom was amazing - perfect view of the ocean, bathtub to relax and read in and plenty of space for a couple. The patio outside was where we ate dinner which was a pleasant way to enjoy the evening dinner and the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware needed (only thing needed was some olive oil!). Once you step outside past the patio, you walk directly into the fire pit - no need to bring firewood because there is dried driftwood all around the beach area that burns quickly. Just past the fire pit is the beach - sandy beach with some pebbles here and there. The ocean felt great to take a dip in on a hot and sunny day! Plus, we saw load so wildlife - baby seal pups, eagles, ospreys! They don't allow dogs that larger than your typical medium-size dog which was a bummer as our doggies would have loved the beach, but it's understandable. The property manager worked with me on answering all of my questions quickly and was easy to contact - thank you April! I would absolutely come back here again and encourage anyone looking for a weekend away from the chaos of the city, maybe some meditation or just the desire to listen to the beautiful sounds of nature - come to this place!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE

Lovely, well stocked house. Great views and wonderful outdoor patio and yard. Such an awesome beach with great beachcombing. We put in many miles on the long stretch of beach during our four day stay. Would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay again soon!
