Rainy but Restful

Rainy until the last day but once we learned our way around, we really enjoyed the town! Super cute and charming, the home is well appointed with all that you need and a place for everyone to rest and relax.

Exactly as advertised - Great spot for a group

The property is exactly as advertised. The only potential “surprise” was how incredibly well stocked the kitchen was upon arrival (we expected very basic supplies, but were pleasantly surprised to find everything we could possibly need). The house was large, had plenty of sleep and relaxation space, was clean, and properly advertised on the listing. The host was easy to communicate with and provided updates as needed throughout (at one point I let him know a couple light bulbs were dead but that I didn’t need him to do anything during our trip. He replied immediately and offered to come by and replace if we wanted that day). Everything was easy and you should have no hesitations about staying here.

PERFECT home!

This is the most perfect home - everything we needed and more for a large multi-family vacation! The different levels and gorgeous outdoor living space allowed for privacy when needed and multiple hangout spots. The open kitchen, large dinning table, and living room shared space made for dancing in the kitchen while preparing meals, at the same time as intense family card games around the dining room table, and others binging favorite shows on the big screen smart tv - with quick breaks for stiff ping pong competitions in the amazing finished basement, followed by perfect nights with s’mores around the outdoor fireplace! We’ve rented for close to 15 years on the other side of OB by Waban/Niantic Park, and so weren’t sure if the location would work for kids (and adults) walking and biking into town - especially at night when teens going to the arcade - but it was a PERFECT location for everyone! Cannot wait to go back again. Thank you, thank you for the BEST house for our annual family trip!

Great house/needs attention to detail

The location, size, layout, and amenities of this house are wonderful. The owner was very good at communicating, and always got back to us promptly. And although the owner attempted and mostly succeeded at fixing all of our issues promptly, we were disappointed in certain aspects of the house, mainly related to organization and neatness of closets, kitchen cabinets and drawers, as well as the quality of toilet paper, towels, and such. Hopefully what we pointed out to him has been addressed, and if so, this is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy all that the Vineyard has to offer.

Look no further! Beautiful property in a quiet, convenient location!

This lovely home was the nicest rental my family and friends have had the pleasure of visiting. Every room was clean, up-to-date, spacious, and comfortable. More than enough bathrooms for everyone! Plenty of beach equipment and games/entertainment for a rainy day. The kids didn't want to leave! The finished basement and beautiful outside space are a bonus. Plus, the location is ideal in a quiet neighborhood close enough to walk to the beach and downtown Oak Bluffs. We had an amazing long weekend getaway! Thank you for making the reservation process and check-in/out so easy and convenient! We would love to stay here again!

Perfect house for large group

This house was a great find for our MV stay. We had a mix of small kids and adults and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay from the # of beds & baths, the bonus room downstairs & spacious side yard with fire pits. The only down side to our stay was there were ticks that we found on us and the kids after playing in the yard that we had to worry about throughout our stay. Perhaps we visited at the height of tick season (June) and this house is in a secluded area in the woods so not necessarily surprising but would advise others to continually use bug spray when in the yard. House is great location to local beaches & downtown OB and we enjoyed walking everywhere. Overall we would love to stay again here next year!

Perfect getaway

We were visiting family for thanksgiving and had a great time. There were a couple of issues like a clogged drain and scratched pans that the property manager immediately resolved. He brought a whole new set of pots and pans. We would definitely stay at this property again.

This was such a beautiful home, inside and out! We loved everything about it. It had everything we could possibly need, and even more. Carrington was helpful and friendly, and good response time each time we reached out. Will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic house for a large group! Great indoor/outdoor space & close to town!

My friends and I just spent 3 nights at this gorgeous East Chop property. Everyone in the group gives it 5 stars. First off, the location is prime. It's less than a 5 minute drive to the OB dock and 10 minutes to VH. You can easily walk down to the marina and over to Circut Ave. The house and property itself were an absolute delight. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and then some. The large kitchen, dining space, living room with gas fireplace, and the bonus basement living room and bar, made this house perfect for 10 guests. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms everyone had enough space to stretch out and have privacy. I think our favorite feature was the outdoor space - the gas fire pit on the deck was awesome for morning coffee lounging. The fireplace in the yard was perfect for the evening fires, which came stocked with firewood. The yard is a great size for gathering a group for lawn games or a yoga session. The property manager was fantastic at coming to our rescue we when realized some light fixtures were not working properly. We arrived during a storm and had a surge, so they arranged a convenient time for it to be addressed and then fixed quickly. We also received an extra propane tank for our stay and plenty of firewood! Note - follow the GPS carefully. The location is a bit tricky with narrow dirt roads that break off. It's totally worth it for the peaceful location. You might even see deer like we did a few times. If you're looking for a spacious place to stay with great indoor/outdoor entertaining space, plus close to town, this property is it! Enjoy your stay! We'll be counting down until our next one. Beautiful property! Perfect location for walking to Oak Bluffs/Circuit Ave and small local beaches. Fully equipped kitchen to meet all your needs! Our host, Carrington, always responded within 30 minutes to any email questions! We would highly recommend this property.

Great Stay!

The property was perfect for our family of 10 staying for a week in Martha's Vineyard. The amenities were awesome and a very short walk or bike ride into Oak Bluffs. We took advantage of the outdoor fireplace and grill on several occasions. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house for a family MV holiday

Very nice house in great location - quiet setting within easy walking distance to Oak Bluffs. The house has everything required to make a stay on MV easy and was perfect for our family visit. Very Ebjoyable

We were very pleased with the property. There was more than ample both community space and private space. Property was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. A Thanksgiving to remember

We decided to move our Thanksgiving celebration to MV this year to make reuniting with family extra special. We found the most perfect house! Carrington is the most responsive owner that I have ever worked with and we have been renting on the island for over 10 yrs! No question was ever too small for him to answer immediately both before booking, after booking and during our stay. The house is just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. It is equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need. Just remember we made our full family Thanksgiving feast using all of the things in house. The house was super clean and extremely comfortable. We did get turned around a bit driving to the house the first time on the bumpy road, but quickly figured it out. We were cozy by the fire places and all through the house. We didn’t walk, but it is such a short to Circuit A e and beaches. We can’t wait to experience all that this house has to offer in the summer. Thanks, Carrington for everything!

Great place to stay on the Vineyard

The house is even better in-person. The space is highly functional, including a "hangout" basement and an excellent fire-pit in the side yard. The location is ideal for walking into the bluff. Carrington was very welcoming and responsive. Overall, our group was very happy and would stay again.
