"We loved the Marcela Resort. It was a 2-bedroom / 2-bath unit, and very large - at least by US standards. From the wrap-around deck, it had an amazing view of the pool, down the mountain, and out to the ocean. It had a full kitchen, separate jacuzzi, and in-unit laundry. The price was still very reasonable. The whole property was well-kept and nicely decorated. "Came here with a group of 9 friends. The suites and the view from the suites were absolutely incredible - much better than the pictures seem. The resort is very beautiful and they have an on-site restaurant with a great menu. Staff were all very friendly and responsive to any requests. The one thing guests should be prepared for is to climb a lot of stairs (they have an elevator, but in most instances, you have to climb steps to access it and it didn’t always work). Probably wouldn’t recommend...

"Siempre es un gusto y placer regresar al Occidental, la comida es buena, el hotel está en perfectas condiciones. Lo unico que cambio vs otras visitas es que ya no podemos cenar durante la estancia en los restaurantes a la carta, solo te dan acceso a 1 por cada 3 noches reservadas. Todo lo demás excelente "
