The flat had only been cursorily cleaned before we arrived. I could run my finger through grime in the bath and the bed had been made up with old and seemingly dirty sheets. Pass the Keys representatives were sympathetic but unable to respond with any authority until 10am the next morning. My wife and I had spent that night in a local hotel as the bed in particular was simply unacceptable. When we returned the next day, the flat had been cleaned and checked, the specific things I had complained about were fixed but the lack of attention to other matters was disappointing, for example, there was still cobwebs on the wall next to the bed, the dishwasher had no salt or rinse aid, the large feature clock on the lounge wall was still stopped (no batteries?). I was told maintenance would check in to sort the dishwasher but we had no further contact. This was all very disappointing for a 12 day stay - utter lack of any preparation or care ahead of our arrival. Pass the Keys were reactive throughout - entirely reliant on my calls, my photos and seemingly disinterested local cleaning/ maintenance staff. The flat proved an acceptable base for our stay in Nottingham but as a guest experience - very disappointing.
