The Pilgrim was designed to offer a genuine return to basics while respecting the environment. As part of our eco-friendly approach, electricity use is intentionally kept to a minimum. You'll still enjoy everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a space heater, mini refrigerator, espresso machine, and a two-burner electric cooktop.

A new heated bathhouse is now available year-round. It features two full bathrooms (each with a shower, toilet, and sink), shared with the two other cabins on the site: The Hermit and The Enlightened. This addition lets you enjoy extra comfort while preserving the authentic experience of staying close to nature. In summer, you can still enjoy the outdoor shower, and for those seeking a fully immersive experience, the original facilities remain available for a complete return to basics. This responsible approach has earned us eco-friendly certification from Les Pages Vertes, an independent recognition highlighting our environmental commitment. 🌿

🚨 Damage Protection – Peace of Mind Included 🚨



To offer you a seamless experience, accidental damage protection is included through a fixed nightly amount.



It replaces the traditional security deposit and covers eligible accidental damages up to USD $50,000 for qualifying stays.* Very few properties offer this level of protection.



The result:

Because true luxury also means peace of mind. 😇

- 3 pre-filled 20-liter cans of drinking water (no running water in the cottage)

- 2 EV chargers shared with the other chalets.

An outdoor dry toilet remains available for those who wish to embrace the full rustic experience, while the new heated bathhouse lets you enjoy the level of comfort that suits you best.



While there is no Wi-Fi, good cellular coverage is available. That said, we strongly encourage you to fully embrace the disconnect by placing your phone in the phone box. 😉

There is no bathroom inside the cabin. However, just a short walk away, you'll have access to a heated bathhouse located on the adjacent property. Open year-round and shared with the two other cabins on the site, it features two full bathrooms, each equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink for your comfort. Don't forget to bring your towels and biodegradable soap so you can make the most of these facilities. 🙂



For those who wish to embrace the rustic experience to its fullest, an outdoor dry toilet remains available near the cabin, while the outdoor solar-heated shower is also available from June through September.



Inside the cabin, you'll find a mini refrigerator, a two-burner electric cooktop, a wood stove, and an outdoor fire pit, providing everything you need to prepare delicious meals while enjoying the simplicity of life in nature. As the cabin does not have running water, three 20-litre containers of drinking water are provided upon your arrival.



Lighting is provided by rechargeable lanterns and candles, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere.



The cabin features one upstairs bedroom with two double beds, each protected with hygienic mattress covers; simply bring your own bedding. You'll also find two comfortable 4-inch thick single floor mattresses, ideal for additional guests.



The Pilgrim offers a reimagined rustic experience where authenticity, comfort, and nature come together in perfect harmony.



Guest Access:

The chalet is entirely private for your use, while certain outdoor facilities (including the heated bathhouse, outdoor shower, and 2 EV chargers) are shared with the other chalets on the property.



Other Things to Note:

The house guide as well as instructional messages will be sent to you after booking to simplify the arrival process as much as possible and allow you to properly plan the activities of your stay.
