El hotel está a cuadras de la playa, y es sumamente cómodo y acogedor. El desayuno es delicioso, con varias opciones para elegir. Muy recomendado!

una experiencia de las mas desagradables tener una reservación y me dijeran que me tenia que ir porque me habitación fue vendida y no tenia espacio .

Básico y limpio pero caro para lo que ofrecen.
Básico, limpio pero no vale lo que cobran. El aspecto más negativo es la falta de agua, que si bien es por un problema en la zona, o ven como lo solucionan o cobran máximo $50/noche para pasar esa incomodidad.

I loved this property and the staff. Really well thought out and great attention to detail. Very comfortable and easy. Lovely pool and great restaurant. Well located and nice to also pop across to Harmony"s juice bar and to sit under their palapas for a change in scenery. Will definitely return.

Great location!
Rooms were clean, coffee & pour over for daily use, small kitchen sink & utensils if needed. the onsite restaurant had great food for all meals, great drinks, very friendly staff, highly recommend this place. LIked that it’s not a big touristy hotel & is down to earth where you get a feel for the local culture.

Great location close to the beach. A little quieter there vs right next to all the busiest restaurants. Issue with the AC one night but it was fixed promptly. Kids liked the pool

Very nice and friendly place
It is a lovely place. The staff at the reception and team at the restaurant are super friendly and make the stay very nice. Daily cleaning and huge size nice breakfasts! Every room has a kitchenette with a coffee maker which is nice. One thing that was a bit of wobble for me is that I stayed in room N1. Everyone was passing by. So you have to keep your windows always closed with curtains and it was dark and at times a bit nosy. It is not a cheap place but then Nosara is generally very expensive and comparing to other hotels it ended up been a reasonable deal. And the place is close to the beach.

LOCATION IS PHENOMENAL. Sunset Shack is the little sibling to Harmony Hotel across the street. My room was well tended to and breakfast is included at El Chile (nice surprise). Room and property were very clean, I did however find 2 large ants, and multiple little legged worms in my room over my stay which were easy enough to get in a cup and throw outside - not unexpected being in Costa Rica/Jungle territory. What I didn't know until my last day was that you can charge food from Harmony Hotel over to your room at Sunset Shack if you go over the the juice bar or restaurant so that's a handy hack if you don't want to be carrying your card around! Would definitely stay there again, perfect spot if you want to be close to Guiones/Surf (which was my intention)

Upscale boutique hotel that oozes charm!
Killer location, walk to beach or shops...Attentive onsite personnel, restaurant adjacent with great food/drink options and monkeys in the trees!!! Great surf and people. It was perfect. Worth every penny...Thank you.

Just right
Sunset shack was exactly what we were looking for. Great location, very close to beach,short walk for food, we didn’t have a car so this was a must for us. Room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable, all the extras we needed for a 2 week stay. Good breakfast.

Perfect!
Everything was perfect. The proximity to the beach and main road was great cause I was here with my senior mother. The staff were definitely the nicest, most fun, most friendly staff I’ve had on a holiday in a long time. What a sweet group of guys! They had great food and live music one of the nights. We had a room with 2 beds, the big bed was super comfy, the small bed was extremely firm. Very clean and nice pool

We had a great stay at the hotel. Hector at front desk was such a great and informative host and helped us a lot throughout our stay. Food was excellent as well and we enjoyed playing pong and foosball at the bar in the evening too.

This place is a little gem. Everyone was exceptionally nice and the entire place was perfect. The beautiful gardens and pristine pool were tranquil. The rooms were comfortable and inviting. We were very happy with our stay.

Casual and comfortable vibe - didn’t seem pretentious like other hotels in the area. Less yoga-centric. Very clean, staff extremely pleasant. Restaurant on site was excellent Mexican food, good variety of breakfasts (included). Pool and community area great, with others travellers sharing information about Costa Rica. Entertaining wildlife. Close to beach, shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

The Sunset Shack is small and has everything you would need in Nosara. The rooms are spacious and clean and include a small kitchenette. There is a nice open air restaurant on site. Many extras were available, pool set in a pretty garden, foosball table, ping pong, hula hoops. The location is close to the beach, surf rentals and lessons, small market, shops and restaurants, yoga facilities, language school. The hotel itself feels fairly private. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Perfect place to relax, unwind, and escape the dust and mud of Nosara! Right near the entrance to the main wave, and walking to restaurants, board shops, and yoga studios. Wonderful experience overall!

The sunset shack has a unique Costa Rican charm While at the same time offers all you would expect from a great boutique hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly the pool warm and clean with a great atmosphere, the location is couldn’t be better as it’s walking distance to the beach and easy for in and out access to Ho while at the same time offer is all you would expect from a great boutique hotel. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.
