"This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. They are friendly and welcoming. The chef there is fantastic! He is gradually changing the menu, but all the food we had was superb! I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. "A very nice hotel with good facilities with a lovely golf course, spa & pool. Room ok but felt basic. TV very old poor quality, kettle needed descaling and no glasses for drinks in room yet given bottles of water? Asked maid to make up the room in afternoon but when came back in evening it hadn't been done our bins were full up. This wa resolved after I'd gone to reception.
