After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. "Having stayed a few times over the years we knew what to expect . As usual all the staff were helpful and cheerful. However we stayed in room 6 overnight on a very hot day and night so the room was very uncomfortably hot and made sleeping a problem. We did notice there was an air conditioning unit in the ceiling which was not operating and there was no way to control it. Very disappointing, it would have made a big difference on such a hot night. Nevertheless we look forward to our next stay,...

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"

"Excellent B&B in a great setting with super friendly and professional staff. The room was very well looked after, it was in pristine condition and had all of the amenities we needed. Convenient parking right outside, and the best breakfast I've ever had at a B&B - A selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, freshly baked pastry, juices, tea and coffee and a delicious cooked option. Amazing value, highly impressed and we will definitely return if we're in the area again!"
