"Had a lovely one night stay in the beautifully decorated and accessorised accommodation. Bed very comfortable, every comfort you could wish for provided. Peaceful, provided breakfast in patio garden when we saw a deer slowly walk through front garden. What a treat! Recommended!"

"the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "

"This a very smart home, and designed for family fun. The swimming pool is heated to 30deg. and is a great attraction. The hardcourt tennis is full size and another bonus. The large gardens are beautiful and the walled garden doubles as a croquet lawn. There are bikes, football, table tennis and DVD player. "My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated. The mattress was so soft it affected the quality of sleep, and the overall condition of the accommodation feels worn out. Breakfast was another letdown: they didn’t even have bread — something simple, inexpensive, and essential in any decent buffet. The only positive point is the staff. They were polite, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the rest. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be returning."
