"We had been travelling for 9000 KM's on a 3 week vacation and I wanted a nice cozy place to have ahot shower and relax and get ready for camping the next few days. I noticed the room didn't have a hair dryer, so I called the owner, and he had the housekeeper bring me one right away. We loved sitting on our patio chairs and just soaking up the calmness. "

"The best was to meet Javier at the reception of the hotel. He gave us all the necessary indications, really fantastic when you do not know the area. The hotel was OK, a bit run down by the years. The location was on the outside of town, but after a 15 minutes’ walk we reached town , which was really good. There were some good restaurants as well as a pub named Moose´s, which was delightful. A good stay overall. "

"This looks like your basic roadside motel, but it's quite lovely. The owners recently bought the place and the rooms have obviously been redone, and they're very cute and smart. Ours had a little kitchenette--I don't know if all rooms have one--but it was so nice to have! And the best thing about the Selkirk is that the owner bakes for the guests--fresh homemade pastries (along with fruit and yogurt) every morning, and homemade cookies every afternoon! It's a lovely touch and we really enjoyed...

"Our stay at the Tiny house was very peaceful and comfortable. It was clean and had all the accommodations needed for a good nights stay. Waking up in the morning and enjoying our coffee sitting on the front porch swing, listening to the geese fly off and land, watching the fishing boats float down the river was a great way to start the day. The owner went above and beyond to see that we were welcomed and comfortable. This will be our go to place to stay when we visit the beautiful Lake...
