"Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. "I was disappointed to find out that the bar / restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesdays, this was not mentioned or highlighted on booking. As a business trip this was not what i was expecting. The room was extremely nice, but with a small kitchen area there was no microwave or cooker, only a toaster. This meant i could not buy food to cook and had to find a restaurant for my evening meal if i wanted a hot dinner. Everything about the room was amazing, very peaceful and a great night sleep. "La estancia fue perfecta.la habitación grande con un buen baño. El servicio impecable; de hecho tuvimos un problema con la tv que no funcionaba y el propio hotel, sin reclamación previa por nuestra parte, nos ofreció una compensación. Una forma de actuar muy honesta y un ejemplo a seguir."

"I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. "Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others."
