This was our second or third time staying at this townhouse in Deer Park. The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. The three bedrooms worked out great for our family. We would stay here again next year.

House was very well stocked, not with food, of course as they can't store food here. But there was everything you could want or need to cook with. Using the pool/lake/arcade was easy to check in and out of. We are at one of the recommended locations, pemi pub and not only was it super yummy, it had gluten free options for our daughter!House was spacious and beds were pretty comfortable.

Terrific!

Great condo for family vacation! Condo was clean, cozy yet spacious for our family. Kitchen was well equipped with everything for preparing family meals. We have been traveling to Deer Park for many years with our family, we love the location and all the amenities! Stephanie’s condo was perfect for our yearly trip!

We stay at Deer Park every summer with our two adult daughters and their partners. We have friends that own a unit and we rent the same time they have to spend time together. This is our second time in this condo and it is our favorite. Lots of room and private. We always have dinner and game nights together with 10-12 people. 3 beds/bath is perfect for 6 adults staying and makes getting ready for dinner out much quicker! Thank you for another great stay!

Host was super responsive, updated kitchen and primary bathroom are nice. Unfortunately there were a few issues that dampened our time. There is NO AC in this unit, it’s not highlighted or delineated in the listing, so beware. There are ceiling fans but the owner does not provide even a box fan to cool off with. We purchased several for our kids because it was scorching in the bed rooms at night.No grill on back deck. The primary bedroom bed was very tough to sleep on and uncomfortable. This is silly, but the WiFi password in both the welcome email and on the tv stand was incorrect. The owner quickly sent us the correct password, but we did spend 30 min thinking we were doing something wrong. Finally, there was a water main burst and all the water was shut off at deer park. While this in no way had anything to do with the owner, at that point we were hot, sticky, and fairly miserable and thought of just leaving the trip early. Fortunately they got water back on in about 6 hours. But the response we received from the owner was ‘obviously there is nothing I could do to prevent this’. We did not expect anything or ask for anything, but overall that’s the attitude and vibe of the owner. No apologies, no offers to comp a jug of water . I couldn’t help but think that if a similar event had happened at a hotel, the response would have been much different.

Great spot at Deer Park

This is a great townhouse, clearly updated compared to most places in deer park. I have stayed at a bunch of places in deer park and this one has been updated. Granite countertops, modern appliances, and renovated master bathroom. One note - as stated on the listing, there is no AC, which was not a problem for us, as the place is shaded by trees nicely. The owner is very responsive and easy to deal with. On top of all that, Deer Park itself is a great place for families, as the beach and pool are perfect for kids to play in and adults to hang out.

Great Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location with easy access to activities. The condo was very clean, comfortable, with plenty of space. The bedroom & bath on the first floor were perfect for my parents. My 9 year old loved the pool and clubhouse.

Summer Getaway

Deer park is great! Our family has been coming to this resort for over 20 years. This unit was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is there is no AC. The humidity on the 2nd floor with the high ceiling was almost unbearable to sleep. We did have to go out and buy box fans which helped a little. The unit description also stated this is a bathtub and a grill (at the unit) which was inaccurate. Overall the stay was good and would recommend.

Deceptive pricing

Nine months after FULL payment was made, I was told price increased $300 and payment of this $300 was due immediately. Having planned this vacation with family for almost a year, I paid the extra $300 so as not to be cancelled ( with no other options so close to arrival date) and disappoint the family. I cannot believe VRBO allows this deceptive price practice. Advertised swimming pool amenity was closed for our whole stay as well. Upon arrival we found dirty and stained towels, dirty showers and many cobwebs. Bed comforters also looked dirty.

Une belle place comme base pour explorer Franconia Notch

Très belle propriété dans un resort. Très bien équipé. Les sentiers de hiking étaient proches. Le lac était parfait pour relaxer en fin de journée. Les installations du resort sont un peu désuètes et certaines sont payantes (salle de jeux entre autre). Certaines activités listées comme la descente en tube sur la rivière n’existent plus. Plusieurs toiles d’araignées et de la poussière à certains endroits. Mais séjour très agréable dans l’ensemble. Très tranquille.

Fun in the sun

We had a great time floating around the lake or exploring Loon Mountain during the day and having a lot of laughs while playing games in the condo at night. We had 3 adult couples staying in the condo, us and our adult children with their partners. Plus we had another 5 friends that stayed in the same complex join us for dinner and games and we had plenty of room. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Always love Deer Park

Deer Park has always been great for a family getaway. Plenty for my teenagers to do and I don’t have to provide transportation because it’s easily accessible by foot or bicycle. And a relaxing place for a parent.

Great location

Host responded quick. Great location, near many activities and NH popular to do. My kids were bummed the pool and jacuzzi was under construction( would of been nice to know ahead of time) But we were happy with the private little beaches on site. We got plenty of River access near the site! The home had everything to accommodate my family with kids .

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay at Deer Park but this unit needed some TLC. The remodeled kitchen was beautiful, but the rest of the unit needed cleaning and updating. Cobwebs in the lights, downstair bathroom needed complete TLC. The upstairs bunk bed was in such disrepair that my grandchild was afraid to sleep in the upper bunk. The bunk leaned away from the wall about 6 inches. The lower bunk had upper mattress parts hanging down. The heating instructions of only using one heater in the dining area made the unit feel very cold in the downstairs bedroom and very warm upstairs. Although we enjoyed the resort and amenities, this unit could use some care from the owners.

Fall Foliage Tour

This fantastic property at Deer Park was our "Home Base" for our three day tour of the amazing foliage and great restaurants in New Hampshire. We could not have asked for better accommodations!
