Weekend Stay

Nice spot, quiet location. The house was nice but there was some personal items left behind by the owner / previous renters. There was perishable food in the refridgerator as well.

Great Stay in N. Wildwood, NJ

We were looking for a last minute place in Wildwood where we could bring our two Doxies (first time trip with them). Maybe a little more than we wanted to spend but the location was ideal, especially for the pups. Quiet dead end street right on the bay. A real nice dock to tie up a boat or jet ski right in the canal. Friendly neighbors. I want to address concerns from some other posts. Not going to lie, you can hear noise from the second floor. More of a concern the first night when there were 5 younger guys there. They were not obnoxious or anything but you could hear what they were saying. Fortunately for us they left Sunday and it was fairly quiet the rest of the week. I am curious if they could hear us as well. I think generally just a little respect and courtesy can keep this small inconvenience at bay. I saw another post mention flies. It was strange that there were some flies that would appear but definitely not a nuisance in any way. I honestly would not consider this a distraction. At least they are are just small house flies and not green heads. Enough with that, we absolutely loved the place. Everything you need in 1 floor living. Very well kept and clean. Nicely furnished all around. So much natural light. We were looking to just relax and unwind with no schedule and this was the perfect place to do it. I found a home in the chair that looked out the back patio sliding doors, what a view! We never had to call the owners once. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us! We might be back for 2 weeks next year!

Our stay was just okay

The location was nice. Right near the water. Great views. However, we had concerns about the property itself. There were flies in side the house at all times. We had the windows closed because of AC; not sure where they were coming from. Also, the 2nd floor tenants were loud. It was very easy to hear them walking around. They played music very loudly and we could hear them talking. Walls were paper thin.

Beautiful, comfortable and CLEAN!!

Our stay in this home in North Wildwood was just what we needed! The owner, Rob, is super-easy to communicate with (all through text) and the house was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The clean smell was the first thing we noticed when we walked in. We brought our own bed linens and towels due to Covid, but they are available there for when things get back to normal (hopefully sooner than later!). The kitchen was well stocked with all the items one could need while there. We particularly enjoyed eating and playing games at the table down by the docks and taking in the views. Highly recommend renting this property!

Bay View

We really enjoyed staying at Bay View over the ong weekend. The house was described accurately in the owners write up. It was clean and well maintained. There were 3 of us which worked out great, It would have been fine with a 4th person. It was really nice to have 2 bathrooms since many places with 2 bedrooms only have one bathroom. We were thrilled that we could bring our dog! Rob, the owner, was easy to communicate with when we had questions but like someone else stated, he does live in the upstairs unit but we really didn’t see him. We don’t have a boat but are “bay people.” I love having the option to hang out on the dock instead of always going to the beach. Also, the house is located at the end of a quiet street but you can easily get to all of the action.

House on the bay

Great 1st floor of a little house on the bay! Ideal for small families who want to bring their boat along on their beach vacation. You can dock your boat right at the house and beaches are 10 minutes or less of a drive away. Located on a quiet, dead end street. Owner was responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend and hope to vacation there again!

Wonderful Property

Chose this rental for a couples weekend getaway. Place is appropriately labeled as sized for 6 guests. Owner was very friendly and made is feel welcome. House was clean and orderly. A great selling point was having a seating area on the dock for us to relax with food and beverages with a great veiw of the bay/lagoon. I would recommend/rent again due to the positive attributes of the property and owner alike.

Summer get-away on the water!

I sold my shore home in February so this being the first time I’ve rented a house. And I can honestly say that we really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be able to take my dog. The home was newly renovated and on the water (what a plus!) it was peaceful to sit on the deck day and night. Our teens came for the day bought floats and enjoyed the water. Will look into staying again next year.

Overall a Great Stay

The owner seemed very laid back and made us feel very welcome. If was not clear from the listing, but he lives upstairs from the first floor unit that is listed. The hour was very clean and spacious. In addition to the beds listed, there is also a pull out couch.

Great stay!

My family really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable home for a family of 4 - fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Deck access was a treat. Enjoyed plenty of mornings on the deck watching the sea gulls and the marsh. No internet but cellular service was great so not an issue. Overall, highly recommend!
