Quiet, restful and beautiful stay

The beach house is exactly as pictured but the pictures can't give you the whole story. The artwork on every wall and every room is wonderful. Every time I thought I’d see it all, I came upon another piece of art. The craft pieces on the walls and bookshelves added a special touch to the rental. I’ve been staying in rentals on the Cape for 40 years and most people decorate in a very minimal way. The kitchenware is Crate & Barrell and the pots and pans are prime in this house, The fabrics, shades, rugs and furniture is designer quality. I felt like I wasn’t in a rental but a real beach house owned by people who love it. A bit of noise from the unit upstairs but owners plan to put in sound proofing and do some other cosmetic work. Joseph was very responsive and I enjoyed interacting with him. I'd stay here again. No question.

Terrific in Truro

Had a great week at Henry's Hideaway. Joseph and Mark were outstanding hosts, quick to answer questions and were very accommodating to our needs. The cottage is a delight, well equipped, and perfect for the four us. Finally, you can't beat the location or the view! When we are back on the Cape this will be a place we hope to return.

Amazing beach getaway!

Everything about our stay was great. Kitchen was stocked with cookware, furniture was comfortable, beach was beautiful, neighbors were friendly, and the location was perfect. A highlight of our trip was the "Seal Walk" at Head of the Meadow Beach. We found directions in the guestbook binder (which was full of good info). The short walk through the dunes was amazing, and the beach was ridiculously beautiful. We practically had the beach to ourselves and the kiddos loved seeing the seals. It felt like a hidden treasure. The only downside of the rental was no A/C, but with the breeze and a few fans (bought at Lands End Marine Supply) we were able to keep the temperature comfortable.

North Truro

What a charming place! Here is the lowdown. First there are 2 parking spaces. The first is directly in front of the unit, the other is a dedicated spot across 6A (Shore Rd). It was very easy for friends to come for brunch without worrying about where to park. Cooking brunch was a breeze. As someone who likes to cook I usually pack my own knives to take on vacations. I never once touched my knives. There was a nice quality set that I was happy to use. A table and seating for 4 was ideal to serve brunch. The living room had a comfortable couch and two chairs. Also a nice electronics set up. The larger of the two bedroom had a very comfortable queen size bed and a window for cross ventilation and a ceiling fan. The smaller bedroom had a very comfy full size bed. The bathroom was on the small side, but had everything you needed to take care of business. The best part of the unit was the expansive private deck overlooking Cape Cod bay. The was breathtaking. There was a very nice table for dining and 2 rockers to watch the sunsets. Also available are beach chairs, umbrellas and a gas grill. I loved sitting on those rockers drinking my morning coffee and contemplating what the day had in store. Do yourself a favor and book this place. It is a gem.

This was our 2nd year staying here and we just love it here. The place is clean, in a perfect location right on the water and has everything you might need to cook your meals right there from dishes/pots and pans to a grill.

Peaceful stay

Beautiful beach side cottage! Amenities were perfect. Newly remodeled everything was clean except the inside windows. Low ceilings if your 6’ 2” watch the fans. Couch was broken and not the most comfortable but that’s comparing it to ours it served it’s purpose. Check-in process was easy and checkout was easy also. This was my first trip to cape cod and this property was overall excellent compared to others we saw while there. Highly recommend this property.

Merging with the Sea

This beach front condo is lovely inside and out. The interior is beautiful done in the colors of the sea. I loved hearing the waves especialy at night, walking the beach, and cocktails on the deck. The owners were very responsive & helpful.

Great stay for family of three

We stayed here for four nights at the end of August and had a great time. The owners were extremely responsive And made sure we had a wonderful stay. The second bedroom is bit small but we were able to fit a pack and play for our two year old. We loved the location and biked into Provincetown and biked to Truro vineyards which were only a short ride.

Relaxing Beach Getaway!

The house was clean and well-appointed. The houses are close together but the neighborhood is peaceful and the views are stunning. We loved watching the sunset over P-town from the big back deck.

Lovely vacation on the water!

This spot is perfect for relaxing. The deck is spacious and looks out onto the bay. The condo is very well decorated and has everything you need. Less than ten minutes to P-town and close to shops, restaurants and outdoor activities. Had a great week relaxing in the sun and enjoying sunsets and the beautiful scenery. Owners were responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great Beachside Getaway

This was a cute little beachside rental in Truro. Very neat, small space, but amazing location right on the beach and close to Provincetown. Took trips in the morning and beached in the afternoon.

We loved our stay here, they had everything we needed! We ate dinner there every night and there was plenty of cooking utensils and dishes. We loved the back porch and the fact there was a grill! It was very clean and even had cleaning supplies for tidying up throughout our stay. The location was perfect, right in the water, and nearby provincetown and the other beautiful truro beaches. We definitely plan on coming back next year!

By the Sea

We have stayed here before and were hooked by the view from the deck! It is as if you were on the deck of a boat surrounded by the sea. You can actually sit on the bed and look straight out to the ocean. Richard was extremely responsive to our questions about a couple of things.

Rental right on the Beach!

Rental exceeded expectations. Fully stocked and quality furnishings. Nice furniture and comfortable as well. Beach at your doorstep. View of the end of the Cape wonderful. Never saw another rental I'd consider in Truro area.

Fantastic Spot

Loved being right on the beach and close to so much. Kids loved walks on the beach and swimming. I was able to run on Shore Rd. Got into PTown a few times for food, shopping, and a whale watch. Also great to try the near by Vinyard. It was a very hot week so we were beyond happy to find an AC unit we could use. Would have been a really tough stay without that.

Great Property

The property was just as described, and we had a wonderful time. We ended up having our car in the shop for the whole week we were there, and being right on the bay and also right on the Provincetown-Truro shuttle route allowed us to have everything we needed for a great vacation, even without a car to get around.

Fantastic location

This is a wonderful property with a fantastic location. The owners are terrific with their communication and service. We had a sliding screen door that with a damaged screen; within a day of notifying them, it was fixed. The amenities are spot on. The view is fantastic. Kevin
