This house is amazing! Such a great location on the north side of the island where there’s barely any traffic and none of the crowds. The landscaping is beautiful in the front and backyard and the trees ensure that you’re completely secluded and have their own private retreat. The house was immaculately clean and so comfortable… Especially the beds.! The pool was pristine and having coffee on the balcony every morning, while listening to the waves, was the perfect relaxation station! We enjoyed the restaurants down the road at rum point and would highly recommend this place to couples or families as all of the rooms have their own bathroom.

Loved the location and the grounds. Everything was exactly as advertised. We used the pool, the grill, and the beach everyday. The hammock had been damaged in a storm so we missed that! We are not cat people, and I am allergic, so we would have preferred to not have the friendly cats hanging around the property. Fortunately, my daughter was willing to feed them. It was an amazing week!

We love this part of the island, and the Parrotise house was a great relaxing home base to enjoy the North Side. We especially appreciated the privacy and quiet, the easy snorkeling and beach, and the pool.

We had a very nice stay. Everything was as described in the listing. The only minor issue we encountered was the TV in the master was not working. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. The beach is rocky, but we knew to expect that. Very quiet and peaceful. I would return again.

The villa was as pictured, comfortable and includes most amenities one could desire. Roland was great and is a true asset to the property. My husband and I have rented ~ 30 private homes/villas throughout the Caribbean. We are avid divers, and we have “shore snorkeled” the absolute best of the Caribbean. This is not, in any way shape or form, a premium shore snorkeling property. I have no doubt that on some rare occasions when the tide is just right and the winds are totally calm, you could snorkel the iron shore and sea grass and view (and enjoy) sea life. Premium shore snorkeling is - fin kicks to a reef, reasonable depth, generally calm waters - think Bonaire, Curaçao, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, St. John, etc. A main reason we selected this property was the described shore snorkeling availability, which is flat out not present here. The amount of trash on the beach in front of this rental was astounding and unacceptable. We have rented enough Caribbean properties to understand trash washes onto beaches. But we have never rented a villa at this price point where the beach was not combed for trash removal (at least) prior to check in. We spent two hours and collected multiple 7-gallon bags of trash the first day (including a hypodermic needle, broken glass, tooth brushes, so many plastic bottles and bags, etc.). Clearly, the trash had not been cleared for months, as after we attended to trash duty, we were left only needing to grab and toss a few items per day.

The home is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is stocked with quality equipment. There was an ice machine and wine fridge which was a very nice surprise. Plenty of seating and great AC. On the downside, we were surprised to see so much accumulated sea grass piled on the beach at the home as well as washed up trash. The sea grass was not in the photos so it was a bit misleading since we thought we’d be spending plenty of time on this beach. We certainly didn’t want to swim in water surrounded by sea grass coming in with the waves. The various parrot rugs were adorable but turned into a bit of a safety hazard. There was little to no grip on the rugs and we tripped on them multiple times. We ended up folding some of them up and slipping under the sofa. Recommend removing the artificial foliage above the cabinets. Although a nice decorative touch, it serves as a dust collector and not ideal when preparing food below while opening cabinets and shaking up the dust onto our food. During an overnight storm, water dripped on bed from the ceiling that was previousl patched in one of the bedrooms. The other primary en-suite had water coming in the window. I noticed a review from November 2023 about the leaky window and it’s still a problem in June 2024. While the maintenance team was very friendly and quick to respond, it seems that their only option is to patch the problem rather than fix it. Nice experience but some issues were avoidable with preexisting patches that failed.

We had a great 7 day stay at Parrot-Ise, we love the proximity to Rum Point. Plenty of beach towels and sand toys. The puzzles will tax you the entire week you’re there!! Cayman Kitties and Chickens for everyone! It was great having the pool and beach. Beach was absolutely amazing for snorkeling. House is well conditioned with a functional layout. Keurig worked great all week, coffee was great! Ice maker really came in clutch for all us ladies and our drinks. The sun hits just perfect over the pool to get you a tan where people will think you’re a local. Overall, no complaints and we’ll definitely be coming back!! Limited stairs makes the house accommodating for all ages! Grocery store right around the corner too!

We had a great week at Parrot-Ise. Property is exactly as shown in pictures. Note there is not a k-cup machine, recently replaced and now only a drip coffee maker. Not a big deal, just note so you don’t bring your k cups. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Beach was a little disappointing due to a lot of seaweed, sea grass and rocks making it very difficult to go in. I don’t know is seaweed is only seasonal but there was a lot built up so if seasonal, it is not really removed. Definitely bring water shoes if you want to try to go in. But, beautiful sitting by the pool watching the ocean. Property was very clean but can use a bit of TLC, nothing major. Window in downstairs bathroom leaks a lot during rain, as noted in a November review and still not fixed. Nothing that would stop me from recommending. Quite windy during our stay so we couldn’t keep the gas grill lit so didn’t use but outside grill area very nice! Very good kitchen supplies in the house. Chisolm’s grocery is a small but very adequate store about a 5 minute drive away. Also about a 5-10 minute drive to Rum Point Club and Kaibo beach. Recommend renting a car if staying here as there isn’t really anything in walking distance but driving was not that hard on the opposite side of the road! We were very happy with our stay here!

We spent our days at another house for our friends 40th bday, but this housewas great. Clean and easy location on the north side of the island. Cats and chickens were a cute addition. House needs to be updated a little bit. Center fan in master upstairs needs to be replaced. Right bedroom closest to entry door needs a new bed. Very small things. Like I said beautiful location, great beach, nice water. Friendly management.

The property was what we expected from the listing. There was enough room to accommodate our party of 6 adults. The kitchen was stocked very well with everything we needed for cooking meals. Several things that could be improved are - in one of the lower bedrooms the bathroom window leaks when it rains getting water on the floor. Also was not able to get wifi out on the pool deck as was specified in the listing. Some of the bedding covers need to be replaced very worn. Also there was alot of seaweed that accumulated on the beach during our stay, would be nice if that could be removed. We had trouble accessing the water due to seaweed and trash. Not sure if that was due to the time of year we were there? We enjoyed driving around the island eating at local eateries. And enjoyed Seven Mile beach.

Best vacation place yet. The ocean is somewhat shallow inside the reef and I did get to meet a shark up close. It came up from the bottom to “meet” me but a hard kick to the head luckily made it leave. Lucky for me. The home has everything one would want for a vacation.

Wow! Parrot-ise is amazing! Mr. Roland had everything ready 2 hours early and met us with a house tour. My dad, husband, sister, and brother-in-law were looking for a quiet house to have a family get-together, and this property did not disappoint. There really are three masters (and a smaller bedroom) with oceanfront sliding glass doors onto porches. All the bedrooms have attached bathrooms, and there are so many places to sit, grill, swing, and lay in a hammock (and pet/feed a local cat). The pool is pristine, and right on the private beach, we swam every day and snorkeled most. It's a short drive to Rum Point and to Tortuga Divers (our favorite). We cooked several nights in the fabulous kitchen (ok, we really mixed rum drinks). This is not in the middle of the Seven-Mile Beach scene, but that is exactly what we wanted. We couldn't have designed anything better. Thank you!

Where to start! Our best family vacation we've ever been on! Our family of 3 generations just had the most wonderful vacation at Parrot-ise! Everything was just fantastic-very comfortable, well stocked, super clean & freshly scented. The remoteness of the home on the North shore unexpectedly served to keep all of us together instead of people roaming off to different places separately. Our other family members rented 2 other homes just to the east and an easy beach walk away. This home has everything you could need -a fully equipped kitchen, lots of seating in the family areas and more towels than you could wish for. The grandchildren & adults loved the pool & the beach -complete with floats, sand toys and snorkel gear. We enjoyed the cats, chickens & even fishing the little crabs out of the pool in the morning.(the 3 yr old granddaughter's favorite morning activity along with juice & coffee on the swing at sunrise!). Roland the property manager is a gem!!- He always answered our calls promptly & made sure to handle the issue quickly and with a warm smile and a chuckle. They even supplied a pack n play for the baby. We enjoyed the Kaibo Yacht Club & Over The Edge restaurants. We rented standup paddleboards from White Sands watersports with free delivery & pickup for fun on the water. We highly recommend Indepth Watersports for scuba diving or for private charters to snorkel and go to stingray city. Top notch, friendly and professional service always! Can't wait to return!

My family and I enjoyed our stay on Rum Point. The house was very clean, spacious and was equipped with everything we needed for the week. My only complaint is the seaweed on the beach and the location. I wasn’t aware Rum Point is under renovation so there’s not many restaurants nearby and 7 mile beach is about an hour drive away. However, all in all, we enjoyed this house and would love the opportunity to come back. The owner was also very responsive kind and helpful. He’s probably the best host we have ever had.

Parrot-ise is everything that is promised and more! When we saw the pictures, we expected the pool to be small but it was not! If you plan the do lots of things in the Georgetown & Seven Mile Beach area, be prepared for an hour drive. We enjoyed being away from the crowds and busy streets. Grand Cayman has changed quite a bit in the years since my last visit.

Parrot-tise is the most amazing property that we've ever stayed at!! My husband and I took my daughter, son in law, grandson (2 yrs), and the other set of grandparents. When we arrived, Roland (property maintenance man) was ready and waiting for us. He showed us around and brought new dining chairs for the patio. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean. We loved having the washer and dryer as well! As a bonus, there was a kitchenaid icemaker that we loved! We have to get one for home! We stayed in the master suite upstairs, and it was more amazing than the pics! We had plenty of towels and beach towels for everyone! The 3 bedrooms downstairs were also well done! When they say "Parrot-tise", they mean it!! The house was full of tasteful, parrot decor, and we loved it!! The beach was steps away from the pool, and it was gorgeous! We felt like we were the only people on the beach! The pool was a plus, and my grandson loved it. I was very pleased that the pool had a fence around it, and the porch was screened to keep my grandson safe. Also, the porch had some floats, beach toys, snorkel gear and a fishing pool. We loved having the cats and chickens to feed. It was the highlight of my grandson's morning. Though we LOVED the house and everything about it, we do have a few suggestions. *softer mattresses, more toilet paper and tissues, rain showerheads would be nice, and a rake so we could rake the seaweed. Just returned from a fabulous stay at this beautiful home. It was a family trip with our adult children. The location of this house is incredible, very private and tranquil, and the view is spectacular. The pool is a big plus overlooking the private beach. Some cute chickens and roosters roaming around, and the resident outdoor cats stole my heart. The house is very close to Rum Point, which is still under renovation, but the beach is beautiful, and there is food available, a beach bar, chairs and restroom facilities. Also close to Kaibo Beach and restaurant. Recommend the larger grocery stores (Fosters or Hurleys) but right down the road is Chisolm's, a small grocery & convenience store, especially is you need something on Sunday as the larger stores are closed. Overall, I highly recommend this property, it's truly a special place. Roland the property manager is such a nice gentleman, who is available should you need something. We had no issues while visiting, but he stopped by to introduce himself which was very nice. We hope to return to this special property.

The house was picture perfect; clean inside and out including the pool and yard. Roland, property manager, actually came and checked in on after several days as we had not called him for anything...LOL! When we did need him he was always very nice and promptly assisted us with what we needed. We loved the cats, kittens, and chickens. Most of us left pets at home so caring for them was a pleasure. The views from every room was great and the upstairs balcony provided perfect viewing of the stars. The kitchen was fully stoked and ready the grill was clean and perfect for fresh fish. The beach was very nice and we could enter the water right from the shore at the house. We highly recommend eating at the Caboose, about a 5 minute drive; their Cayman Grouper is fantastic. Rum Point and Starfish beach are just quick drive down the road and Kaibo's outdoor seating was great for lunch. Everything was just so close and convenient. Everyone was friendly and helpful from Chisolms Grocery to Jacques liquor and beer store. Parrot-ise is a definite do over and we will be back. I cannot say enough about Parrot-ise. When you go take advantage of the swing and the view of the beach in the morning...truly paradise; or should I say Parrot-ise!!!

We enjoyed our stay in this house. It had everything we needed to enjoy our week. It is on the quiet side of the island, and it was quite windy during our week, so we weren't able to enjoy the water much, but we had a great time at Grand Cayman! You can't go wrong with this house if you are looking for a nice relaxing quiet vacation.

Where to even begin. When planning this trip, we debated between staying in a more populated area such as 7 mile beach (due to the fact that we had 3 teenage sons traveling with us), or somewhere quiet. In the end we decided on somewhere quiet and peaceful, Parrotise was the perfect spot. We got to the property a little early, and it was all ready to go for us. The moment we walked in the door we knew we made the right choice. The kitchen was very well stocked, it had anything and everything we needed. The bedrooms were beautiful, 3 of the 4 with ocean views and very comfortable. There were plenty of linens, more beach towels than we could have possibly used! The home was very clean and comfortable. Upstairs was the bedroom suite which was very comfortable and was a nice spot to enjoy the ocean views while reading and enjoying morning coffee. The property around the home was great. We grilled almost every night and we enjoyed the company of the resident cat, Princess. Super sweet kitty!! The pool was fantastic, it did tend to get a little dirty due to the wind (and the little crabs liked to hop in as well), but it was cleaned halfway through our 9 day stay, an unexpected and appreciated surprise! Bring snorkel gear (fins are a very good idea), because the snorkeling is amazing. If you're a strong swimmer and have snorkel experience, go past the breakwater and there is endless sea-life. The very first day we had an 8 foot nurse shark swim directly under us!! WOW!! If you're not comfortable swimming in the wavier water, there are calmer snorkeling areas very close by...Starfish point is a short driving distance, and there's also Cayman Kai just down the road. Roland, the PM, was great...so kind and on the ball if anything at all is needed. In a nutshell, Parrotise is highly recommended, even if I tried to find something to complain about, I couldn't! We WILL be back!

This place did not disappoint. We stayed here for a week. The pool and pool deck were great. It was very nice having pretty much your own beach area. You do need water shoes though as it's a little rocky. The views are incredible. The house itself was in great shape. We had an issue with the internet and TV but Roland took great care of us. He brought a new TV the following day. We will absolutely stay here again.

We LOVED this property! We had 7 people in our party (5 adults and 2 kids) and the house was perfect for everyone to be together but to also have space. We loved the outside patio for our meals and card games at night. And the view of the water was absolutely stunning. The house was clean, we felt safe, and we were able to comfortably make ourselves at home because of all the amenities in the house. The proximity to Rum Point was great too. We spent time there, at Starfish point and we did a night kayak bioluminescent tour — everything was just lovely and we will remember it forever. My 5-year old loved the property cat, Princess. He looked forward to feeding her everyday and even told me he had plans to hide her in his suitcase to go home with him! The only reason I rated the property a 4/5 is because of the garbage washing up on the shore everyday. We talked to locals and learned it’s sadly from other countries (and irresponsible people) dumping in the water, but it made the beach very unpleasant to walk on. We used it as a learning opportunity for our kids and worked everyday to fill up a bag of garbage (which would only take about 10 minutes because there was so much). I know the trash isn’t the owners’ fault but it’s reaching a level where the property would probably benefit from someone coming each day to clean up the new mess that washed up from the night. That said the trash wouldn’t be enough to hold me back from renting again. We truly loved every minute we were there and I already miss it!!

Great property in all respects. If you want a relaxed vibe, in a comfortable place with a beautiful, quiet setting, this is your home! While you can simply chill at the property all day, we explored the Island during the day (snorkeling, boating, horseback swimming, etc.), and made wonderful meals at the home at night as we toasted the sunset! We felt more at home in this property than any other place we have stayed. Very well equipped. This place was not “stripped” of cooking utensils. Tons of beach towels! Well maintained. And if you are seeking privacy this place fits the bill. Communication with owners and managers top notch.

We had a fabulous stay at Parrot-Ise! My kids LOVED the pool. My mom loved the screened in porch. The tiki hut and grill area was awesome for a couple of family dinners! Rum Point is less than 10 minute easy drive down the road for lunch and dinner. Will return

Highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a north side stay. Was so well stocked we did not come across a single thing we needed that it did not have. The house is very will maintained - everything worked perfectly. We loved the privacy at the house, and found it very convenient to access rum point and the east end of the island. We ventured to west side one time but spent the rest of the time on the north and east - loved the laid back feel away from the crowds. Wonderful villa, wonderful vacation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Parrot-ise. The home had all the amenities we could have needed and then some. We woke up early every morning to the most amazing sunrise, sitting in the red ocean front chairs and enjoying our morning coffee. A short trip to Rum Point Beach was great. Loved Star Fish Point and the bioluminescent bay, both just down the road! Quiet and relaxing location! Love the large outdoor area, with a tiki hut, large picnic table, 2 grills, swings and hammock. We rented a kayak for the week and loved it. We will return, thanks for sharing your amazing home!

We had so much fun at our week long vacation at the home! We loved the pool and spent our nights grilling or playing games on the back porch! We found some local restaurants on the same side of the island and really enjoyed ourselves. Roland and the property manager were so helpful when we had questions during our stay! We would definitely return to the house again! Things to note- Seven Mile Beach is about 45 minutes away, but we made two day trips and had a blast. We honestly enjoyed the privacy of the home most days! The closest full grocery store is about 20-30 minutes away, but really wasn’t an issue for us. We stocked up and stopped by when needed. There’s a small grocery about 5 mins away. Rum point is about 3 minutes down the road and has activity options, a restaurant and bar. I highly recommend the house if you are looking for peace and relaxation, or if you have a group of 6-10 and are looking for quality time spent together! Absolutely enjoyed our stay!!!

We enjoyed the house very much. Great accommodations. There are a few things I would change if it was mine. Loose hand rail down to pool, new pillows, note to renters to keep dryer n dishwasher open due to musky odor this leaving towels musky, screen sand at beach. We found lots of trash n glass, gas grill regulator needs to be replaced. Struggled to get it to light daily, ice maker next to wine cooler needs to have coiles cleaned due to mold. The house was very clean, inviting, i was blown away with the master sweet!! , and we loved spending time with the cat. We would love to come back if you would have us. Steve Topper n family 😎

Great home with beautiful view! Pool area was perfect and the beach was very nice to have at our footsteps.. The home has big bedrooms and nice bathrooms for each one. The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked. Plenty of seating for our group of 7 adults. This home is very close to Rum Point and Kaibo Marina. The house sits back off the main road with ALOT of privacy!
