Beautiful home for multiple families. Better interior than the photos. Clean. Stocked with kitchen appliances, towels, games. Has a functioning piano but not tuned. Showers have variable water pressure. Beach was underwhelming. Choppy water and no realistic way to kayak so don’t waste your money renting the equipment. Expect a 45 minute drive to any activity worthwhile as everything is on the west side of the island. But if you like serenity and quiet then this is it. Pool is nice but the wind off the northern shore is chilly and limited the usage. Overall it was a four star property.

Loved the property!

Loved the property! The grounds were smaller than it appeared in the pictures but there was ample space for our family of five! Will definitely return in the future! Louise, the property manager, was excellent. She was very helpful and immediately addressed any questions that we had!

We had a blast and the property is wonderful. The Rum Point side of the island is definitely slower pace than the 7 mile stretch, which we preferred.

Fantastic Family Vacation!

This was a beautiful property, with everything a family of 7 could want. Shamar was a fantastic liaison, helpful, friendly and on top of everything! No detail was overlooked, everything was perfect. Restaurant recommendations, activities, kayaks, he did it all. The pool and beach surpassed expectations. Highly recommend!

Overall 8/10! Great trip. Great views, very private and quiet. Beautiful home. Some general maintenance is needed. A/C in bedrooms did not work well despite following instructions for turning it on. Wifi could use a booster in the bedroom with twin beds. Interior doors seemed to lock on their own but we did locate a key.

Great Family Vacation! But Beach Wasnt the Best.

We had a fabulous week at Gypsy! The house is gorgeous! Every room was beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with every item you would need. The pool area is gorgeous as is the private beach. We spent most of our hours laying around the pool deck, swimming in the pool or sunning in beach chairs on the beach. However, the water in front of the house was not exactly swimmable. There was a ton of sea grass which made the water very murky. The reef in front of the house is still suffering damage from Hurricane Ivan so there were not alot of fish. Once the winds calmed down, the water was a bit gentler. But do not expect water like on Seven Mile Beach. Being adults, we were fine going in the water but I think smaller kids would be frightened. However, this did not deter us at all from having an amazing week at Gypsy. We did need to call the Property Manager about a few things and everything was resolved in less than 24 hours. Thelda was wonderful to deal with! We would definitely stay at Gypsy again when we come back to Cayman.

Very Impressed

This house has it all! A sandy beach with good snorkeling within swimming distance, a wonderful pool to enjoy, luxury accommodations with comfortable, well appointed rooms, plenty of towels to go around and the best kitchen we have every had with plenty of everything, including coffee maker, Keurig, and a great blender. Not to mention the piano, a wonderful touch for the musician of the family and a couch to fit everyone. Don't miss out on this one, and we speak from experience as this is the 5th house we have rented in the Rum Point area.

North side and Rum Point are great areas. This property is well situated, nice beach, well appointed and all around very nice for a family getaway. Some maintenance issues. Be sure to let them know right away of any problems. Highly recommended!

Beautiful home on the north side . Sunrises were just breathtaking

We came to the Cayman Islands for a family reunion and there were nine of us. This is a beautiful spacious home with a great pool. The house is extremely close to the water which was good for the kids . Very calm and peaceful home and close to Rum point.

The Gypsy was amazing and had all the things we needed.

We arrived on Grand Cayman at the airport and were to the location of the house with in 1-1/2 hours with a stop at the grocery store. When we walked into the Gypsy everyone in our party was blown away by the flooring and the open plan. The back yard is private and the view of the water is amazing and I live on the water in Florida. the kitchen was large and all the rooms are private and not put on top of each other. There were pleanty of towels and the fridge seems to be oversized. We took a taxi to the house but decided to get a car the next day because you are very limited on getting around on that end of the island due to no taxi services. Rum point restaurant and the yacht club are 1.1 and 2.2 miles up the street and a very easy ride in a car. the pool has the ability to get heated and we took advantage of that because we were there in February. The owner of the house has a 27' Boston Whaler that you can rent and we did that one day. The captain of the Whaler is a guy name Joe and he was amazing and so knowledgeable. I cant wait to return to this end of the Grand Cayman island and relax again. Geoff & 7 guest.

Gypsy 4BR. was Great.

The house was perfect for our group. 8-adults 2-Grandkids 2yrs. and 3yrs. and with the all on one floor concept it was wonderful, the grandkids could run around with no worries. Well maintained with everything you could want. One drawback was the water access, due to the time of year from the rough sea the beach was covered with sea grass piled up about 18inches high at the water line so no water access. We just piled up in the van and took them to Rum Point just up the road...3 minutes. All in all its was GREAT

This property is amazing. Very clean, great quiet location near Rum Point. We did a family trip with 9 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. I am a clean freak and this by far exceeded any place we have ever stayed. We visited the other side of the island near Seven Mile Beach, but prefer the peace and tranquility of this side. We made some unforgettable memories and every one of us would go back and would definitely stay at Gypsy. Just amazing. Can't say enough about it.

I rented Gypsy to celebrate the life of my husband who passed in April. 4 of our 5 daughters, a couple of husbands and grandkids were able to join. We are spread all over the country so it was a perfect place for us to all get together. The house is so roomy that we never felt crowded or on top of each other. We loved the fact that we could snorkel right off the beach and rarely saw another person when at the house. Gypsy is beautifully appointed! We spent one night in a condo on Seven Mile Beach and, although we had a great time, we all said that we were so happy that we spent our vacation at Gypsy. Cayman Villas is a very professional company and I highly recommend working with them for your Cayman vacation.

Great property and location. House as advertised. A couple of minor issues, refrigerator was struggling to keep things cold and probably should be replaced and the automatic system to unlock the house on arrival didn't work and we had to call and get the code. Overall extremely satisfied.
