The correspondence with the host was excellent! The property was better than it was described. The view was spectacular! Property was very clean and well maintained as well as the grounds (beach and pool area).Great location!

Great location and property

Perfect sized condo with well appointed kitchen on a beautiful property. Excellent location next to Kaibo and close to Rum Point. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful vacation!

We loved this location and the unit itself. Great space for our family of 4. Everything was very clean. Kitchen had more than we needed. The pool and the beach were great. Plus, it's right next door to an excellent restaurant that we could walk to.

Exactly as Advertised

Great condo within a very nice property. Fully equipped, very clean and well appointed. Nice view of the pool and beach from the screened in balcony. Very convenient location next to Kaibo Yacht club, 5 min walk to Starfish point and 20 min walk to Rum Point. Easy to catch the water taxi to Canaan Bay at the pier next door.

Great condo, great location

Stayed for a week with our 2 children. The area is wonderful - we keep going back! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a week of relaxation. The views from the patio and master bedroom are just as pictured in the listing. Would definitely go back!

1st Cayman trip

Loved the Kai part of the Island. Very exclusive and not too many people. Had the beaches mostly to ourselves and found lots to do close to this location. Property manager was very responsive to requests and condo was comfortable, clean and has a spectacular view.

Wonderful vacation

We were 2 over 60 couples. Good size condo. Very well stocked, friendly neighbors, great pool, hot tub, hammocks, we lacked nothing. Beach in front of condo not the best but Rum Point, oh my! Management very responsive. Couldn’t ask for more. Will be back

Wonderful week in Kaibo Kai

The property was a great “base of operations” to explore the island. We were amazed at how stocked the unit was with many little things like cooking spray and spices that we didn’t need to buy. Probably the best thing was the beach chairs in the garage that we used on a variety of beaches. Communication with the host was always super fast and helpful.

Condo was fantastic!

The condo was fantastic, it had just about everything you need. Spacious, beautiful view of the pool and beach from the balcony. It was quiet and relaxing. The extras were great ( beach towels, SUP, kayak, hair dryer in master bath, etc) makes it so nice to have less to pack. We did contact management with a few questions and they were very quick to respond. I definitely would recommend this condo!

Great location for a chill vacation

Condo was very comfortable. Clean. Great screened in balcony. Safe beach for kids (it's an inlet to a marina so don't expect a beach like 7 Mile but awesome seashell collecting), beautiful walk to Starfish Point where there's a perfect kids beach for swimming (few starfish), Rum Point (3 minute drive) is so chill with great buffet lunches and the nearby public beaches are a short drive with solitude and untamed beauty. Easy boat rides to Stingray city from Kaibo (do before the cruise ships arrive). Loved the botanical gardens with kids splash pad. You need a car to stay here. The local grocery store is modest. Kitchen is bare bones but functional. Great towels, washer/ dryer was a bonus, beautiful view. Kids LOVED the pool. Sure day trips to 7 Mile beach take a 50 minute drive but it's a beautiful drive and you'll be happy coming back to the chill vibe here. It was perfect!

Mostly great!

Anniversary trip for me, my brother, and our wives. Amazingly clean and exceptionally large condo in Kaibo. Kitchen was well stocked. Property was idyllic with the palms, hammocks, and yacht club. Restaurant next door was convenient. Nice grill, paddle board, and 1-man kayak but probably need one more of each for two couples. Four stars for two reasons: Second bedroom was advertised as twin beds that could be converted to a queen—not true. The twin mattresses were still 4-5” apart after pushing the beds together. My brother and his wife slept on twin beds for their Cayman anniversary trip…. Master shower knob is a cypher. Needed a technician to come and explain how HOT is in the cold direction, but only half way…. Property manager was very nice but doesn’t monitor all of her messaging apps so it was three days of cold showers. Otherwise, if you want to be away from the crowds, this is the best place on Grand Cayman. Many of the tours will pick you up in Kaibo or Rum Point.

Adequate

We got off to a bad start with zero communication from the property manager until I had contacted both the owner and the management company several hours after our arrival. I had messaged several weeks out and then one week in advance and followed all instructions about reaching out to them via Whatsapp beforehand. I sent questions to the owner via VRBO as well to help me know what to bring but Don never answered. Communication was lacking. Overall the unit is a bit weary but it was exceptionally clean and adequate for our stay. Amenities could be provided to assist with guest comfort (shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee,etc) - a bit of extra effort would make a difference. I burned my hand badly after microwaving a mug - only non-microwaveable mugs in the unit. The seal on the stove is gone so using it makes the unit hot (not a huge deal, the AC works pretty well but the master bedroom is notably hotter than the other rooms), the dishwasher was completely broken - we tried using it the first night and it leaked so much (and pieces inside were disassembled so my husband put it back together), we just washed our dishes by hand. The second bedroom had numerous scented products in it (air freshener and dryer sheets under the beds) and I had to remove them) as my kids were sneezing from the perfume. Sandra, the cleaner, was there when we arrived and she was very welcoming and pleasant - clearly an asset on the team. The kids enjoyed the pool every day and the property was lovely.

This was our first time in Grand Cayman island. We were here during their cold spell. It’s was very windy everywhere and temps in 70s. The Kaibos condos were a perfect hide away from the winds. Because of its inlet we were able to enjoy the beach, play in the sand (toys provided by owner) snorkel and enjoy great food at the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and nice. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Nicely decorated and comfortable bedding. We traveled as a family of 4 (6 and 8 years old kids) We will be back.

Paradise

Fourteen of us spent a week here and nearby. Everyone loved our place and our view. We walked to the cafe, the Yacht Club and the pier. It was a magical week.
