Babylon Reef was Amazing!

Great place to get away

We had an amazing stay at Babylon Reef. The home was very comfortable and offered an amazing view of the ocean. This is our 3rd trip to the island. We enjoyed this area very much. It is secluded, yet close enough to access all parts of the island.Cayman never disappoints.

AMAZING

From the view as soon as you walk in, to the beds once you go to bed at night…it all excellent. The pool was clean, beautiful, and has an amazing view. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of starter supplies at the home (toilet paper, paper towels), we will definitely be back!!!

Great stay!

This property lived up to all the reviews we saw. All the amenities were really good as well as the amazing views. The pool was also great to be in when the sea was rough.

Snorkeling Getaway

We loved staying on the quiet North Side. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We especially loved that we could snorkel right off the property's beach. Lifejackets were provided by the house which was a great amenity. We also loved the spacious backyard and relaxing in the pool. Highly recommend!

Great property away from the hustle and bustle of things. Access to beach and beautiful views. The property is lush with amazing plants/flowers and of course palm trees!

Perfect Getaway

The property looks exactly as shown online. Experience the view in person is unreal. Plenty to do for the kids on property. Nice quiet location. Would love to return!

Loved this property! The amazing view of the ocean, the huge pool and beautiful big windows were great. The layout was perfect for myself and my husband, my mom and our 2 kids (shared the twin bedroom upstairs). The location on the Northern end of the island was quiet and peaceful and close to many of the excursions we did (parrot sanctuary, botanical garden, Starfish point). It wasnt too far to drive to anywhere else on the island either, maybe 45 mins max. The house and pool were very clean. Check in and check out process was easy. We have no complaints about this property and would love to stay again in the future! It was too windy/choppy for us to snorkel out back with smaller kids, but older kids or adults easily could. Our kids had fun seeing the hermit crabs come over every morning on the sandy area by the palm trees.

A perfect place to Spring Break!

Our family of 4 had the most enjoyable stay at Babylon Reef. The house is set on a beautiful piece of property and waking up each day to the view was like being in paradise! This is a place to relax, lay by a pool, snorkel, cook good meals, and play games. This house is in a non touristy area which is what we preferred but with a 30-45 minute drive we could do any excursion we’d like and then return to the peace of Babylon Reef! Very close to Rum Point where you can get on an excursion to Sting Ray City which was a favorite activity for our family.

Perfect family getaway with all the comforts of home

Babylon Reef was everything we were looking for in a Caribbean house. The location was fantastic and both kids exclaimed it was the best house we have ever stayed in. Usually we visit a different beach every day, but we had so much to do near the house we ended up hanging around the house for 3 of the days. Thank you so much for the hospitality, the house was more than equipped for a comfortable stay and the updated bathrooms were a nice surprise. Thanks again!

Babylon Reef

It was a perfect house for 4 adults and 2 children. The location is wonderful if you want to be in a quieter area of the island. There are wonderful beaches nearby, and a variety of excellent local restaurants. And, it’s not a long drive to explore the other areas of the island. The pool was great, and there was a wonderful breeze the entire week we were there. It was too windy to swim or kayak in front of the house, so I would suggest not renting a kayak. And as it turned out, there were already kayaks there to use with life vests! It was easy to cook meals in the kitchen. The bedrooms were all comfortable. It is a wonderful home to rent!

While we enjoyed the location, house, pool and views, the beds were HORRIBLE! one of our couples had to sleep on the couch! The place could be a 5 star if they would upgrade the beds and replace the NASTY dirty grey couch in the living room.

Amazing experience

My husband and I came to spend our 4th wedding anniversary and we are already counting down the days till we come back. The cleanliness, the roominess, the amenities were all perfect. The pool was fantastic and it was so easy to use the kayaks, speakers, everything. You don’t even need to borrow them from the rental company. The air conditioning was perfect. We had a fantastic time. We hated to leave

Cozy and Private

This house checked all the boxes for us! It was private and secluded, ample space, clean and modern and had a lot for the kids to do. There was swimming, kayaking, SUP, bean bag toss, and lots of games/puzzles/toys. Ola was a pleasure to work with. We would stay here again! The only drawback is the beach behind the property is pretty small (not sure if it's due to the recent hurricane or not?).

Perfect Caribbean Vacation

Babylon Reef proved to be the perfect spot for a quiet getaway: a beautiful and well appointed villa with plenty of privacy, a beach in the backyard and an inviting pool to enjoy a cooling dip. We easily made ourselves at home on the first day, and only left the property a few times to enjoy local eateries and a visit to Rum Point. The weather provided plentiful sunshine, with a few warm thunderstorms tossed in for variety. The property management company was responsive to the only one (and very minor) issue we had which was quickly remedied. This is one of those vacation homes we know we will return to - leaving after close to two weeks was not easy!

“The Pink Vacation House”

We had an amazing stay at Babylon Reef! Our group had three adults and three children. Age ranges were from 5-75. The house was beyond comfortable and so easy to be in. The fenced in yard made it easy for the kids to run around and explore. There are no houses on either side of this property so there is so much privacy. We cracked open several coconuts and drank fresh coconut water from them. This was a highlight for the kids. The kids were in and out of the pool throughout the day and there was always a shady spot around the pool if you needed a break from the sun. The beach was very natural with sea grass large chunks of coral huge conch shells and lots of fun. As described this side of the island does have trouble with trash washing up. Our beach was clean but walking to the right or left and there was sadly more visible trash. We were not able to successfully kayak or snorkel here as it was very very windy the week that we stayed. We rented a car and had no trouble making fun day trips to seven mile beach, the parrot sanctuary, botanical garden, rum point, bioluminescent bay, crystal cave and out to eat at Tukka. We shopped and cooked in most nights and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need for cooking. We were able to watch the sunset if we walked down the beach to the left. Everyone found this vacation to hit the spot! No one was ready to leave after 7 days!

Northside Tranquility

Overall, Babylon Reef is an amazing property. Set on the north side of the island, it is a perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet while taking in spectacular ocean views. My family and I spent 10 tens at Babylon Reef. The home is well equipped and functional. We enjoy cooking, the cookware (pots, pans, skillets) are in need of updating, same for glass ware (drinking glasses, cups). The outside grill was clean and fully functional, enjoyed using it several times while we were there. The house was very clean, and in excellent shape when we arrived. Light interior painting could give a fresher look, specific to the great room ceiling. Fully functional air conditioning and several ceiling fans throughout. You will never be hot. Brand new washing machine. Dryer unit fully functional. We used both units several times. We rate the house 5 stars. The amazing views every morning out of the master bedroom and off the pool deck makes the house a first-class experience. Pool was fantastic, a highlight for all of us!! Our family loved the house and all it had to offer; we would certainly stay at Babylon Reef again. Thanks for the great communication by Ola, the on prem property manager. Don't miss out on this one.

Absolutely Incredible!

This house is truly a gem! If you want a truly quiet, spa like, restful place to stay on the island, this is it. From the very moment you step in you will be swept away with the view from large picture windows of your back yard to the pool and gorgeous aqua blue ocean. Your mouth will drop! It’s almost too good to be true! I don’t think the pictures online quite do this place justice. My family of 5 and I had the most magical time here with the house and bedrooms well appointed and comfortable. Lots of books to choose from- even children’s books, fun games and puzzles, closet filled with ocean gear, beach chairs, life preservers, two bikes, and some snorkel gear. Kitchen has most everything you need to make great meals, even a Ninja blender. Large dining table, and good sized couch to spread out on. The owner was super accommodating to our requests since we were staying on island longer and needed a later checkout- very quick to respond and communicate. Lovely person. Pool and pool deck feel like you’ve stepped into a boutique hotel spa-like space. Fantastic outdoor chaise loungers, some under shade of palms, grill and outdoor table and chairs made our stay super exciting and comfortable. Kids loved the beach- so many shells and treasures wash up on beach. We had the beach entirely to ourselves during our 9 night stay. Strong WiFi - reaches almost to beach. Gated and fenced yard to add to privacy and sense of security. Will come back!
