Excelente estadía

El departamento es bello, con vista al mar, balcón grande con mesas y sillas donde desayunábamos y almorzábamos. El mobiliario muy bueno, la cama y ropa de cama excelentes. Cocina completísima. Lavarropas y secarropas con todos los elementos necesarios para su uso. La playa enfrente.

This property has everything and more for what you could ever need on a vacation. The unit was extremely clean upon entry and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat! An overall great vacation and perfect place to stay!

This condo was absolutely perfect - location, decor, noise level and hosts were outstanding. Not a single complaint on any of it. My dad and his partner were thrilled with everything. I cannot say enough good things and highly recommend this property to anyone. Sheer brilliance all around!

This was an excellent rental. It was clean and well equipped with all the extra amenities you could possibly hope for. Stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, lotion, bug spray, snorkel equipment, tennis rackets, games, dvd’s, chairs, speaker, binoculars, and more. It is like a small community and very friendly and not overcrowded. I called Giji for help from the phone provided and she answered on first call and came within the hour. It has a great view of the ocean and an amazing private beach area. The snorkeling was amazing right outside the door or you can walk down the beach a ways and get in and drift. I would recommend drifting past rum point peir for any easy access out of the water. While snorkeling I saw many turtles, schools of tarpon, barracudas, 3 squid swimming together, sting rays, spotted rays , an eagle ray and many smaller colourful fish.There are restaurants near by and the grocery store will deliver,I do recommend a car if you want to see the island, We did our scuba diving with ocean frontiers and they were reasonable and very amazing. All of our dives were fantastic. The guides were all polite and incredible. We saw sharks, large crabs, lobsters, lion fish,and much more. There were a lot of pass through caverns that were really incredible. We went on a bio luminous tour on a boat from rum point. All a must see. The caves was also a nice hiking tour. I would also like to add that the gift basket on arrival is a welcoming touch and a sweet host.

#12 at The Retreat is the best and most tastefully equipped VRBO we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Lovely. Seemed like everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the excellent snorkel equipment. The welcome basket was over the top. Good smart tv. Excellent king bed. Didn’t need the AC. The location at the very tip of Rum Point was magical.

Our stay was extremely comfortable and the communication was excellent both before and during our stay. The welcome basket was a nice touch at check-in. The kitchen had everything you might need for cooking meals, although we mostly dined out at nearby restaurants.

Wonderful condo and excellent host. The condo is in a beautiful location close to great snorkeling and restaurants on the quiet side of the island. The condo itself is clean, quiet, and well provisioned. We will definitely stay here again.

The house/condo was absolutely beautiful. Could not have asked for anything more. Val and Dave have everything supplied that you can possibly imagine the welcome basket that was put together for us meant so much. I would definitely stay here again again. This part of the island is much quieter than over on 7 mile beach. The only downfall of this trip was that there was an abundance of Sargasm in the water right outside the condo and we were unable to use what appeared to be a beautiful beach and waterfront, but we made the best of it and just traveled to various beaches around the island each day. Val and Dave supplied coolers and ice packs that we were able to utilize packing various picnic lunches and beverages for our travels. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful Family Trip!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Mi Casa, Su Casa. The place was spotless, smelled amazing, and had everything we needed. My husband celebrated his birthday during our trip, and we are beyond grateful to Val and Dave for being such fantastic hosts. This condo is a great location for those looking to get away from the congestion and hustle and bustle. Everything we needed with easy access to the beach and local amenities. Owner was accessible and responsive. Only drawback is second floor. May be difficult for older persons or those with limitations.

Perfect Slice of Peaceful Paradise!

Everything about this was perfect!Communication - As soon as we made our booking, the hosts reached out to us with lots of information about the rental and the island. It was like having our own personal travel advisor! The communication remained excellent leading up to and throughout the entire trip. Cleanliness - I only wish I kept my house as clean as this rental is! No dirt or grime, no sand, no yuckiness at all. Everything was spotless.Provision - The condo is beyond well stocked. When I realized there was something I forgot to pack (a beach bag, aloe, etc), it was right there waiting for us. Everything we needed was provided. Beach gear, kitchen equipment, huge amounts of towels, games, paper products, detergent, and more. Location - As the listing says, this rental is far from the main tourist area on the island. If you want quick and easy access to a large variety of restaurants, shopping, and such, this isn't the place for you. However, if you want peace and quiet, this is it!!The best part of the location is the beach area! The 7 Mile beaches are well known for their beauty, but they are boring compared to this one! The beach here has beautiful sandy areas and other rocky places teeming with life. Just off shore, you will find an area of gorgeous coral full of fish in shallow water. If you are up to swimming a bit further out, there is one of the best snorkel spots on the island. We spent hours snorkeling and exploring!The perfect place!

Great holiday at The Retreat Rum Point

Rum Point Retreat

The condo unit was very clean and well appointed. It's in a very good location at the tip of Rum Point with a small private beach. Rum Point is on the quiet side of the island well away from the busy areas of George Town and Seven Mile Beach. The owners were always available to communicate with and were very receptive to any needs we had. After we had booked the unit and well before we arrived the owners sent a long email with a lot of information on restaurants, things to do, where to shop, etc. It was extremely helpful to plan our days with all the information that was provided. It was great to have beach chairs, an umbrella, coolers, snorkeling gear and other items to take when we explored other beaches around the island. All said, it was a wonderful condo to spend a week in when visiting Grand Cayman.

A Slice of Paradise

The property could not be more perfect for my husband and I. The condo was impeccably clean (their house keeper is a perfectionist) as well as stocked with everything we could need and a binder filled with local knowledge. Val and Dave are just the perfect hosts you are looking for. The view of the Caribbean from the screened in balcony was so relaxing. The location of the property was close enough to a grocery store (that will deliver), restaurants, water sports, white sandy beaches, beautiful snorkeling and other adventures. The location is on the more peaceful side of Grand Cayman, away from all the hustle and bustle. We did rented a car for the week allowing us to explore elsewhere on the island and realized Rum Point was for us the perfect spot from sun rises to the amazing sun sets.

Rum Point and Mi Casa Su Casa - a perfect spot!

We had a wonderful week at Rum Point, where we have stayed previously. A special shout-out to Valerie, the owner, who was extraordinarily attentive to us from the very start. Excellent, thoughtful and timely communications and all the little extras (like a welcome basket, a great list of suggested "to-do's," coolers and freezer packs and more!). Mi Casa Su Casa is in a perfect location and had everything (and I really do mean everything) that we needed to enjoy a wonderful week.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

Our stay at Mi Casa Su Casa was a wonderful respite from New England winter. The area is spectacular, with a sandy beach, a quiet inlet, and snorkeling right from shore. No need to sign up for a tour group!Val and Dave were perfect hosts, checking in with before and during our stay, and giving us really helpful information. The only thing that prospective renters should keep in mind is that this quiet location, while it has restaurants close by, is a good drive from other services. So be sure you are prepared to drive or cab to supermarkets, etc. We had our taxi driver make a quick stop from the airport to a large market on the way in. And three cheers to our perfect Super Hosts!

Paradise!

I truly could not have asked for a better first time experience in Grand Cayman! Val was the absolute BEST host I have ever worked with; she provided me with so much information ahead of time that I have zero worries going into it, the condo was fully stocked with everything you could ever need, & the island itself was breathtakingly beautiful!! Family vacation

We had three units at this property. Our unit at Mi Casa Su Casa no. 12 was a wonderful one bedroom one bath unit for me and my wife. Everything about the place was just perfect!The owners communicated with us all through the process and during the week, but did not bother us
