After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. "We paid $60 more for a family room (2 beds) than a king size bedroom but it was not available to us. We were offered to a room with a double bed. We argued that the bed was too small. The room we had finally offered was a queen size bed. The bathroom floor was bare plywood. The top materials were removed. The housekeeper said it is in a process of renovation. The toilet was hardly flushed. The light above the sink did not work and did not repair upon our request. The elevator was always...

"Reception not manned on arrival, did not realise that door card and check in card was left on table for self service. Basic hotel with English Breakfast /Toast/Yoghurt included in the price. Large car park. Ideal location to attend a party in Mansfield. Not planned to use the restaurant but believe it was closed during our stay. Bar also looked closed but think we were told it was available if required. I would stay again if I needed to stay overnight in the area."

"This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again."

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
