Very clean, felt like home, safe and quiet surroundings, beds were extremely comfortable, close proximity to everything we wanted to do, definitely would have felt safe about bringing my dogs but we left them home for this trip, overall completely satisfied. Will stay again.

Too many issues

Big old ping pong table in middle of garage we were supposed to be able to use. Host wanted to charge us 20 to have cleaning staff move it. Hell No. Ice filter went out 2nd day and it took her 4 days to get a handyman there to look at it. Another day for part to arrive. Then I ended up watching a YouTubeVideo and I defrosted it and fixed it. Sun room had no power To only outlet. Again 2 days for guy to fix it. Grill was rusted over and 1/2” of crud on grates. She said previous visitors never complained. Well they couldn’t have used it. Not cleaned for ever. She did buy a cheap one and handy man carted off the old one. He was even grossed out by it. Pool auto fill doesn’t work. Water kept getting low and you could hear the pump motor straining. So we kept turning on the hose to fill pool. If we hadn’t her pump would have burnt up. She was in no hurry to get anything fixed. Wanted us to be there when handy man came but he would come after 5pm. Which interfered with us getting dinner. Finally left a day early. Couldn’t take it any more. She is not qualified to be a premier host. These are the only VRBO homes we rent. pictures are not accurate either. She should also state that the house is on a main road. Very busy. Pool only nice thing about house when it worked. Beds are super hard. Kitchen well stocked Will not be back

10 Day stay

I loved the property, it was nice and clean, spacious for my family. We stayed 10 days on vacation.The property manager answered our messages quickly and was very attentive asking if we needed anything. Nice accommodations. We will be back again Thank You

Close To Everything

The local Venice area is 30 minutes away as well as many of the surrounding beaches. We went and looked for sharks teeth. The grocery store is 10 minutes away and there is just about any chain take out place within the same drive. We brought our dog and had a nice time bringing her to some of the dog-friendly places around the area. The house itself is very well stocked with basic needs, which are mentioned in the listing. It's in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We never heard a peep from any neighbors. The street itself is more of a main road serving the neighborhood, but it wasn't a big deal. We had a really nice time.

Location, location, location!!

Casa Azul was convenient to many stores, restaurants and a great ice cream shop. It was a short distance for us to go to Punta Gorda for the market on Saturdays and to Fisherman’s Village. It wasn’t far for us to go to Venice for church and to Englewood for the beach and drum circle. We drove to Lido Key one day, for a guided kayak tour in the Mangroves. We enjoyed sitting by the pool and walking in the morning around the neighborhood. We had a great month at Casa Azul and our host was available for any questions.

February 2024 Get Away

We stayed at Casa Azul for the month of February 2024. Our goal was to get away from the northern weather. Mission accomplished!! Our stay was excellent. As with any home, there were a couple of minor issues that were quickly resolved by the our host Ashley. She was excellent and very responsive. The house is conveniently located while affording privacy. Would recommend this property and would rebook without hesitating.

Not the usual excellence we get staying in VRBO properties.

Pool that was suppose to be heated was not till the day we left, trash cans were overflowing when we got there, the dishwasher was not attached like it is suppose to be and would fall forward when you opened the door and there was a leak in the master bathroom coming up from the floor. The dryer was not working correctly and it took quite a long time to dry your clothes.

Lovely Home

We live locally and needed a place to stay while hurricane damage was being repaired in our home. We found the house to be very clean, quiet and comfortable. The decor is bright and cheerful and welcoming. The host is very responsive and got back to us immediately to answer any questions. I loved the sunroom with the desk and was able to set up my laptop to get some work done. The internet connection was high speed and was great for streaming tv. HDMI cables are provided for the TVs and I just had to plug in my ROKU and Apple TV to start streaming.

Nice neighborhood and close to beaches and restaurants

We had a wonderful stay. House was very clean and well provisioned. Nice safe neighborhood and short drive to beaches and nearby restaurants. Pool was very nice and we used it a great deal. Host was engaging and quick to reply. Highly recommend!

We came to North Port to take in a few spring training games (go Braves). Home was just beautiful inside. She didn't forget a thing. She checked in on us to make sure everything was fine, and it was.

Lovely, well-equipped home

Ashley was excellent with communication. She was very quick to answer questions prior to arrival and while we were staying in her home. The home is lovely and has every item you could want in the kitchen and throughout the home. We were more than pleased with our stay in Ashley’s home.
