Had an absolutely amazing stay at this gem of a property! I thought it might be too good to be true when I booked the trip, but the property actually exceeded all of my expectations! The two cottages are beautiful and the location is both completely private, and yet easily accessible. I was sad to leave, and hope to go back someday to this little slice of paradise!

Last minute broken wrist caused us to have to stay home. Owners would not exchange or give us credit for a different date, which was a disappointment. Get the insurance if you want to book here, no exceptions.

Great spot. House is private and the beach location is great for either in water or beach activities. Check in/out was smooth as well. Spent a week here with our three kids (between 6 and 11) and everyone loved it.

Such a beautiful place - the pictures do not do it justice! We had an amazing stay with our family - plenty of room to spread out, very clean and well appointed, and so comfortable. The beach is amazing and quiet, and the water to the left of the rock formation is perfect for swimming. The owner has thought of everything needed for a great stay - plenty of fluffy towels, blankets, pillows, beach equipment, etc. We hope to come back again someday soon!

We loved our stay at Rocks Retreat! It had it all - a private beach, 3 outdoor showers, great location, close to Tippy’s, perfect size accommodations and just beautiful grounds.

Loved this property. Was just as advertised. Beach was beautiful, house was great, loved the dual Sonos systems that we could connect to play music from. Well stocked with everything we needed for basics plus some bonus items. GREAT Wi-Fi, which was an important part of why we stayed with them. If you want a great place that's quiet, right on a beautiful beach, but still has great privacy, this is the place to rent!

This place is awesome! I have been to Eleuthera 3 times this year and this is the best place of them all! Beautiful beach just steps away from the house. Beautiful stars at night and great spot for fishing. Sunrises are unbelievable with a large rock on the beach to watch them from on the beach every morning so you don’t get sandy if you don’t want to.

We were so happy with our stay at Rocks Retreat. Very clean. Very secluded. Short walk to the amazing beach. We snorkled and saw many beautiful fish right off the beach. So much beauty here! We fell asleep listening to the waves while relaxing on the loungers by the house our first day there! We didn't want to leave. Everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation was available at the house. The only thing we missed was a beach umbrella... This is a must stay place! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Marsha for your availability to answer our questions so quickly!🏝🌞❤

This was our first stay at Rocks Retreat and second on Eleuthera. We don’t intend to tell you about our vacation as that’s useless and of no interest to you. We will tell you about our stay at this property to give you information to best select a property for your vacation. We manage several vacation rental properties in the metro NYC area so we have some idea what is important to give renters a seamless experience. Rocks Retreat as you know is two buildings, a main house and a cottage. The cottage is an extra rental charge should you need the space. The main house is two floors with an un-air conditioned main floor - an open plan with comfortable sitting area, dining table and well supplied (non-food items) kitchen. In the corner is the one small bath with shower - there is no second bath. The second floor, up a steep stairway, is a one-room bunk house/sleeping loft attic with two queen beds and two single beds and has a split air conditioner unit. The positive impressions included the house delivered very neat and clean. The grounds, with no view of the ocean from the main level, were attractive and well maintained. Down a 100 yard path is a stunning Atlantic beach that was deserted every time we used it. A washer/dryer is available for the renters use at no additional charge. All linens were provided and the beds were comfortable. Beach chairs and chaise lounges were available. The detractors included all corroded or non-working windows that required sticks to hold them open. Windows either had no shades or broken shades that injured a guest, cracked/broken or no light bulb lamps, several non-working outlets, no bath in sleeping area, and a terrible condition rusted and duct-taped refrigerator. The only “starter” goods provided on our day of arrival were a gallon of water. We had to make an immediate visit to a market. No air conditioner for main level made for uncomfortable stay. Premium accommodations (king bed, efficient air conditioning, large bathroom with tub) were strangely only available in extra rent charge cottage. Learned that owners hadn’t updated property in about 20 years.

We just returned from two weeks at Rocks Retreat. This one can't be beat for the price. This is a beautiful beach house in a great location, convenient to Governor’s Harbor, Banks Road Deli and Tippy’s Restaurant. The main house and cottage are spacious and are well maintained. The picturesque beach extends for several miles and is less than a three minute walk from the house down a palm lined path. Another couple joined us for one of our two weeks – the separate guest cottage provided excellent privacy. The owner was very helpful in providing information about the house and location. Marsha greeted us on arrival and ensured that we were familiar with the house. We highly recommend Rocks Retreat and look forward to returning next year.

Rocks Retreat was a dream location for us, perched above the warm Atlantic Ocean over two spectacular beaches. The house is simple, comfortable, and has everything needed to cook at home. We'll come back any time!
