I understand that this property very affordable compared to other properties in the area. It looks cute and cozy in the photos but definitely has some things to be aware of.
Pros:
1. location - walkable to Main St.
2. The space is pretty large, but most of the space is in the kitchen area
3. washer and dryer in unit
4. dogs are allowed
Cons:
1. parking - there is 1 spot available for each tenant. If the other tenants are not considerate in how they park then it makes for a very difficult parking situation where you have to squeeze in your vehicle and hope everyone knows how to back out without taking off a door or side mirror
2. sleeping - this was the biggest reason for our poor review. The pictures make it look like a comfortable-enough day bed, however, this felt more like a futon you'd crash on at a friend's place in college. The mattress is so thin you can feel every piece of metal underneath. We are two decent-sized adults so I would NOT recommend unless you're sleeping alone or both of you are very small/light.
3. what isn't shown in the pictures is that the unit is clearly an old unit that has been "remodeled." There is a lot of evidence of corners that have been cut and things that have just been patched. The AC units are in the windows and, while they do work well enough, there was visible damage around them on the walls. They also haven't been cleaned in a while so the dust made us wake up stuffy every morning.
