There were many things we loved about the house: gorgeous view, quiet location, the fire pits, the spacious deck, a working gas grill, the cleanliness, and the nice bathrooms.There were a few things that we felt needed to be addressed: some of the outlets did not work at all, and some only partially worked; bedroom 4 needs a mirror; the seat of the living room rocking chair needs repair; and the deck flood lights need repair.The most unusual and concerning thing we found was that the kitchen countertops are covered in vinyl flooring material, which is not meant for food preparation. When I rolled out dough for my rolls, a black substance emerged from the countertop and onto the dough. While I understand replacing the countertop is costly, I really think it would be the right thing to do for the safety of food prep.The only other thing is there is no heat in the downstairs bedroom. That made for a few uncomfortably cold nights.Overall, we really liked the house and would stay here again. It’s hard to find a nice, spacious, affordable, oceanfront, pet-friendly house. We’re happy we found one!

Usually we rent down nags head. But cherry grove is our new vacation spot. House had enough room very spacious right over the dunes to enjoy the beach and beautiful stars at night. Thank you

The listing and the photos did not match our experience. Many things were misrepresented like the outdoor seating space and areas. The outside grill was broken, it was eventually replaced but it took a lot of communication for that to finally happen. The washer was broken and never got fixed. The living room glider chair was broken and disguised with a cushion. There were lots of ants when we got there on a weekend and someone couldn’t come until Monday. The pest control guy showed us evidence of ants being there prior to us so it was a known problem. There were no bathroom rugs upon arrival and they did bring some finally. The curtains for the lower bedroom did not cover the windows so it took some time before they finally addressed that. I was given a small refund but overall, I would not have chosen this property had it been properly represented. The pictures are outdated from its current state. The AC did not keep up during the day, when technicians finally came they said it wouldn’t be fixed properly until after we left because permission needed to be gotten from the owner for the replacement parts. I will not stay here again as there are plenty of other options that are right on the beach.

Myrtle Golf Trip

Group of friends for annual Myrtle golf trip. Have been renting at Inlet Point Villas for years and wanted to try a house for everyone to be together Initially was a little disappointed. With the house compared to the pics viewed as well as a few things not working ie toilet coffee maker and we had a rocker/glider chair. That I sat in and heard a sound that made me feel lit was unstable so nobody used it rest of the time. The grill was an absolute mess Just an fyi as someone will want to use it and it’s in horrible condition. Other than that, the property management team was extremely responsive and helpful and at the end of the day it was a beach house for us to sit on the deck and sleep. Not sure if we would come back to this property but we will definitely come back to Cherry grove beach and find a place or places via Vrbo. Amazing Views

The house was in an amazing location, it was easy to find and the ocean views were amazing. We LOVED sitting on the front porch and relaxing. The house is a bit dated there were some loose boards on the front deck, the appliances are on the older side, outlets were loose and most didn't want to hold our phone chargers they would just fall out. But to be right at the ocean was worth all of it. We are giving a 5 star rating because we knew it was going to be of a dated house, and they responded immediately with anything that came up! We would 100% stay here again!!

We booked this oceanfront house for a week but, decided since we were having such a great time we contacted the host and booked it for an extra night. Then we contacted them again to extend it for two more nights! The host answered our questions very quickly.

Older house with beautiful view

House is older and needs updating. Shower drains do not work properly. Kitchen needs some decent pots and pans. Floors were dirty. We enjoyed the back deck it is very large with gas grill and fire pit. Access to the beach is up a large sand dune and is difficult for senior citizens but the beach is beautiful.

Great location …House is nicer in pics than reality

22 people will never fit in the house as stated in listing. We had 8 people and felt crowded sharing tiny bathrooms and space in general. Downstairs is completely detached from house and can only be entered going outside and down. 1 family member attempted to stay there but was welcomed by several roach looking bugs on the floor and ceiling. Overall conditions of that room were very poor also with ceiling paint flaking off scuffs on walls plaster that had ben worked on but not finished etc. house just needs a lot of freshening up done inorder to look remotely like pics. Trash cans weee all found to have trash left from previous renters and were not moved to the road as instructed when you leave . Towels and wash clothes provided were very old and dingy…..all of this in mind the house is in a good location and has a lot of promise for small family stays of 8 or less but no more

If you are looking for great access to the beach, that is the primary perk for this rental. It is nice that all rooms have two beds. The bathrooms are very small and not the most conducive for tall people. The toilets and vanities are very short. The house in general could use some TLC. The kitchen is in desperate need of pots, pans and mixing bowls. The pots and pans are so old and honestly, seemed unsafe to use. The living room furniture is very worn and two of the chairs creek and pop. In the end, youre paying for beachfront and the fact that its pet friendly. But if you are looking for the bells and whistles, this is not the property for that. Definitely more of the budget friendly property. Internet, a/c, grill and laundry worked well. Dont plan on cooking with what is in the kitchen. e needs some TLC and the kitchen in parti
