"Perfect place for a romantic winter getaway. Stunning grounds, great room with lovely views, the lodge was cozy and the food was great - the breakfast in particular was amazing. Dinner was expensive but it didn’t disappoint and convenient onsite. No TV in the room but no need with the cozy fireplace. Bed was comfortable with nice linen. "The location is excellent but that is where it ends. I have no idea why everyone is giving it the 4 or 5 stars. Please people tell the truth.
The rooms are mediocre at best and very dated. The shower robes basically told the full story. They were fraying to bits. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep in as the mattress seemed very tired as you sunk right into it and the electric heaters gave such a dry heat we had to turn them all off. Freezing was a more comfortable option.

"The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful, displaying unnecessary attitude toward us and other guests as well.
Cleanliness was only average, and the rooms had an unpleasant odor. Despite being a below-average motel, the rules were strict and excessive, as if we were staying at a five-star property. It didn’t feel like a motel experience at all.
Heatpump was not working properly. They have old LED TV which has no YouTube or other smart TV options for the kids.
