Family vacation

Wedding weekend

A nice, convenient place. We were able to have other stop over after reception and spend some time. Lots of room. Shawn good host and communicated ina timely fashion.

A great week away

We very much enjoyed our stay. The large kitchen was great for preparing meals. The multiple TV's and Roku was an added perk for relaxing in the evenings, after days full of activities.

North East, PA lakeside home

The property looked recently updated, well-kept, spacious, and well appointed. The property sat directly on Lake Erie and had a beautiful view. The area was quiet and located minutes from downtown North East and from several wineries.

Lovely Lake Erie Vacation Spot

We had a lovely time at this nice home on Lake Erie. The neighborhood beach down the street was quiet and perfect for swimming, exploring, and skipping rocks. We were 30 minutes away from many other vacation activities, like Presque Isle, Waldemeer, and mini golf, but right in the heart of the wineries.

Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed the house and the view of the Lake. House was well maintained, clean, and very organized. All of the amenities that we would need was there and available to us. We had 6 adults and 6 kids in our weekend stay, and the house had plenty of room for all of us. Great location with respect to town and all the wineries. Would stay again if in the area.

Beautiful property, great area

Beautiful property with plenty of indoor space and covered porches for those rainy days. Yard was plenty big for corn hole and fire pit was perfect for the end of the day. Jennifer was quick to reply whenever we had questions or concerns.

Elegant and relaxed

Our party of 5 stayed for the second time at this property recently. The house is on a cliffside overlooking the lake. Relaxing in the backyard includes stunning views and sunsets, bald eagles and hawks flying overhead, and the sound of the waves crashing into the cliff. The house is well appointed with everything upscale in the kitchen and every room. If you stay here you will be very well pleased.

Beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay very much! So many rooms and beautiful decor throughout the house. In the kitchen, there was any item you could possibly need. The 2, yes 2, refrigerators were such a treat! The place was very clean and cozy. The view of the lake was amazing! We had a fire just about every night. Another treat were the Bald Eagles we saw almost daily- so breathtaking. We WILL be back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Wonderful weekend

Having never done Vrbo before I was a little nervous as to how the entire process would work. My worry was for nothing. Adorable house, easy check in & check out process. Fully stocked kitchen, wonderful view. I could go on & on. Would definitely do again!!

The true luxury of this home is definitely the backyard deck and the stunning view of the lake! We especially enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evenings, watching the beautiful sunset while making s’mores—such a memorable experience.Inside, the home is nicely decorated, but some wear and tear is noticeable throughout. As noted in the listing, the last renovation was in 2010, and it shows in a few areas—things like a greasy stovetop and oven, dirty caulking around the sinks and tub, and cobwebs around the front door and porch. These are relatively minor issues that could be easily addressed with a little extra attention.Having towels and sheets provided was a definite plus, and being together as a family made the trip special regardless. The owner was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, which we really appreciated!

Absolutely Wonderful!

We had two reasons to be in PA for this trip, a family reunion/party, and the eclipse. The house was absolutely perfect. We slept two couples (4 adults) here comfortably. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook meals the days we were in the house. There is a nearby town with a grocery store that had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the house had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the day. We sat on the back patio looking at the lake , and were able to see the Eclipse from here as well. We took a walk down to the beach , which was easy to find and very quiet. I can't say enough nice things about this house. Definitely would recommend, and if we ever find ourselves out that way again, we will absolutely stay here again.

Not as imagined

Check in was easy, but upon arrival the house was dirty. Spiders and cobwebs EVERYWHERE! The listing details were not accurate. No grill on premise, we had to buy one. No A/C for over 3 days. The beach access listed as down the block was a lake access with old tires and dead fish. blockwas

Super Cute

This house was perfect for our stay. We rented it for a celebration of life for our mother and it was the perfect setting for family and friends to come celebrate and pay tribute. There was plenty of room and the views were beautiful. The house was also perfectly located for our trips to all of the wineries. The only reason I am not giving it four stars (and I mean the only reason) is because it wasn’t clean as it could have been. The main areas were clean but as I have found with most rental homes, there were cobwebs and dust everywhere. For example our daughter was afraid to sleep on the top bunk because the ceiling was filled with cobwebs. There were cobwebs in every corner and crevice of the house. We would definitely rent this house again but hope the owner would take into consideration doing a deeper cleaning for their guests.
