The greatest place

A very cozy place, excellent to go as a couple and disconnect for a moment enjoying nature and your company. I loved the seasonal decoration and the delicious welcome pie, it is 200% that I would book this beautiful Chalet again.

Cozy, cute, well accommodated, love the guest boook homemade cookies. The coffee bar and the little things that were provided that made us feel at home and comfortable. The games on the shelf so many things we loved about this place.

We loved the chalet. Everything inside was very nice and they made the most of the space. It was also well stocked. The area is so pretty. Easy access to Gore Mountain. And the kids loved sledding on the property. Bill and Suzie are the best hosts. We had ice and snow overnight separately and they were out each morning to plow, shovel and sand. And the welcome cake was so tasty. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. The chalet, the area and the hosts are amazing.

A fantastic place! Beautiful and immaculate. Super quiet location, screen porch overlooks the yard area and pond/ wetland. Well equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and basics like oils and spices. Cookies greeted us on arrival :)

Great chalet! Lots of attention to detail. Very clean. Hosts are very responsive. My only drawback was that the fridge is the size of a hotel fridge. There is a separate freezer of the same size. Very complete kitchen otherwise.

Best hosts ever

The cabin is a cozy and comfortable space in a beautiful location overlooking a pond, we loved the setting and the layout made sense for our 2 parent, 2 teenager family for a weekend of skiing. But what really sets this place apart are the hosts. Without exaggeration, Bill and Suzie are the best, most thoughtful and caring hosts we have ever experienced on VRBO, from clear communication, to making delicious, home-baked Valentine treats for us, to making sure we were plowed out in the morning during a big snow.

Another Great Stay!

This was our 5th stay at the Chalet and our first in the winter (very easy access to Gore Mountain!). Bill and Suzie are amazing hosts in all regards (I am sure a more detailed review from us is below)... they even update the decorating to match the season! We are looking forward to our next visit this summer!

Perfect return

We were so happy to return to the chalet for a short getaway. It’s just as nice in the winter as in the summer. It was cold and snowy outside but warm and cozy indoors. We enjoy the quiet and how well organized the chalet is. Don’t miss the star gazing (or the full moon) here - simply amazing! On this trip we saw the moon and four planets. On the last trip we watched meteor showers. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning.

Perfect getaway

I really can’t say enough about our stay here at Oven Mountain chalet. First, it’s beautiful here. The chalet is absolutely perfect for a couple wanting to have a quiet romantic time. The property is very well maintained and the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. My wife and I came to visit my daughter and our grandson and this little slice of heaven was very special. And Ms Susie makes some kick butt treats for your arrival after a long day traveling!

Such a gem

We wanted a quaint, quiet place to spend our anniversary and this place was just it. The hosts were super nice and communicated all we had to know and even wished us a nice trip home. The place is gorgeous, quiet and the screened in porch makes for a nice place to have a quiet breakfast and dinner. The bubble bath and soaker tub makes for a nice spa like experience at the end of the day. The bed is super comformable which just this made the stay an enjoyable one. The hosts also offer coffee, teas, milk, waffle mix and real maple syrup for breakfast...so nice and was soo good. We just wish we would have stayed longer we enjoyed it so much. A+ experience overall

We LOVED this property!

We cannot say enough about how much we loved this property! The chalet is beautiful and cozy with attention to every detail. The property is so peaceful - full of wildflowers and wildlife. At night you can see so many stars and if you’re lucky, meteors! This lovely place gave us a much needed chance to rest and relax. The Fosters have clearly put their heart and soul into welcoming guests. There were so many unexpected extras - and cookies! Don’t hesitate to make this place your home base for enjoying the Adirondacks - just book it!
