The place was ideal for our family and the location could not have been better. We had two young children, a two year-old and a four-year-old who is so enjoy swimming in the hot tub and running up and down all the stairs. Would highly recommend it for anyone who has young children and grandparents that help big time.

Another Great Year

We have stayed at the Gecko Inn for our family winter getaway for a number of years now. This home is perfect for our family, warm, clean and welcoming! It is in close proximity to our favorite "play in the snow" activities. Our grandchildren (4, 9 and12) look forward to it every year...especially counting the geckos and checking out any new ones. Ken and Tanya are gracious hosts and regularly respond to any questions. We love our family winter vacation at the Gecko Inn!

Very nice property

we had a great time! Perfect for our frouo of 8! Everything you need is there. Having the 3 bathrooms with our group was awesome.. enjoyed the hot tub. Great. Location. We love the Gecko Inn

We had another fun family getaway at the Gecko Inn! As always, the house was clean and has plenty of space for us to spread out and play games and enjoy the family. This time we celebrated Thanksgiving and were treated to the first snow of the season. The Gecko Inn is located close to all the stores and sites of North Conway. We’ll be back again soon!

Another great girls’ weekend!

The Gecko Inn is our go-to in the North Conway area for girls’ weekend. The house is comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, and a short drive from shopping, dining, and recreation. Perfect for playing board games, relaxing, and preparing meals. We will definitely be back!

Clean and comfortable

The house was very clean and had no shortage of rooms to stay in. The porch was great to hang out on, carve a pumpkin and give the dogs treats. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking the dogs, I wish I had brought bikes as it would have been a lot of fun to ride the hills. We had a little difficulty with the tv but the host was helpful and easy to reach, though we never were able to figure out what was wrong with it. We lost power one morning due to high winds but I was able to get the power company's number and while we were out for the day the called to tell me the power had been restored. The kitchen was a great size and had plenty of dishes etc to be able to do lots of cooking. There was a foosball table that my daughter absolutely loved. My only complaint would be that I would have preferred a smart TV since the cable didn't work on the main floor and the offering of a DVD collection, since the cable was out. Overall a really great stay.

Peaceful retreat

Located in a peaceful neighborhood, this was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy Conway and the greater area for the week. Plenty of space for our family to spread out (teens got their privacy!). The deck and hot tub were perfect for relaxing in after a day hiking too! The owners were very responsive when we had issues that arose.

Felt just like home

We had only five adults and one almost 3 year old granddaughter with us (and their dog) and were so comfortable. We never used the downstairs but it looked like a fun area to play in. The owners were very responsive to our questions prior to arriving. The only suggestion we would make is to add some larger biwls (for soup, salad, etc.) it really helped to have everything labeled so we could put everything back in place. The location is perfect for getting into Conway and other scenic sites. Very quiet as well. We will def recommend this rental to friends or family looking to visit the Conway area.

Wonderful home and hosts

This home is an incredible place for families to stay and enjoy all that the white mountains have to offer. There is plenty of space for everyone, all the linens, towels, bathrooms, and outside space a large party needs to enjoy themselves. And on top of that, the hosts are communicative and kind. Highly recommend!
