We needed help with a couple of things and she immediately texted back with the solution.The setting for this property is beautiful - open fields with a view to the mountains - which was all the more spectacular with the fall foliage.The house itself was very clean and orderly, and worked well for six adults. "We enjoyed our stay in this spacious cabin in Windham, NY. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The beds here were very comfortable and the air conditioners in the bedrooms made sleeping at night more comfortable. The game room was a hit with the kids and came in handy for one rainy day. We enjoyed dinner and the used bookstore in Cobleskill and had plenty of space to play our favorite board games at. "The house was very clean with an open concept. Kitchen and living room. The beds were very comfortable as well. the bathrooms were spacious with waterfall showers and enough room for a larger person. The outside porch overlooked a small brook that had tranquil water sounds. All appliances worked how they should with no trouble. "Many problems with this listing, first the fire alarm was low on battery, I had to physically climb to reach the smoke detector to detach and remove the battery, a sharp beeping noise went off every 90 seconds and we wouldn’t have been able to sleep without stopping it.
