Lovely location, peaceful, and plenty of space in the house for us and our guests. However do note that the advertised pics do Not represent the current condition of the property whatsoever - it is much more run down than shown e.g large holes in flyscreens, stained kitchen stools, uneven flooring (big dip next to kitchen bench) etc. Cleaning/Maintenance could also be improved for the future - many old dog poos in backyard, dirty interior of oven, some dirty cookware, exhaust fan and some lights faulty in bathroom next to king bedroom, bottom of BBQ (under hotplates) filthy with fat/oil that had dripped all over gas bottle and utensils (we cleaned it ourselves).Overall a comfortable stay, once we got past the initial surprise of the state of the property.

Good trip away, property was easy to locate and check in/out process was smooth. Nice access to the beach. Feedback - quilts were extremely thin so it was quite cold, there was no wifi and the couches are completely different to the photographs and quite uncomfortable.

The best holiday destination

Beautiful location. Property is very well presented. So close to all amenities yet had a feeling of seclusion. We will be back next year and a big thankyou to all associated with the property.

Lovely location

Plenty of room for two families. Rooms and Bathrooms were modern and clean. Enough cooking utensils/appliances held. However, photos of lounge/living areas differ to what was there. TV signal drops out especially when windy. DVD player provided however selection of DVDs were scratched and unable to view. Overall a lovely stay with gorgeous views of beach/township.

Great dog-friendly holiday house with lovely views

The property was great and very relaxing! Nice quiet spot and we loved the views. So great to be able to take our dogs. A few things that need attention: oven needs a good clean and the only heating is in the living areas, so warmer bedding is needed. A coffeemaker would be a good addition.

Windy Wallaroo

Great to have a modern comfortable place that is properly dog friendly. Dog crate in lounge was a great idea. Comfortable beds, sofas and great showers. The house was not spotless but it was clean, the kitchen was well equipped but could do with a few extra wine glasses. The veranda was perfect except for the wind and the back yard great for the dogs.

Lovely family holiday

We had a great time staying in this beautiful property. The only suggestions I would make is for some oven gloves , more drinking glasses and more dishwashing tablets. Overall a lovely stay.

Amazing Beach Getaway!

Fantastic holiday house. Amazing location and very quiet neighbourhood. Watched fireworks from the wooden table at the front of the house New Year’s Eve - perfect view!! Kids enjoyed crabbing on the rocks and playing cricket on the front lawn. Already planning to book our next stay. To make the property even better-a quick wipe of the living room walls, a dust of the screen doors for cobwebs, lawns mowed and making sure there is detergent for dishes and hand soap available to use. The photos are out of date on the stayz website-not a true indication of how new the furniture is. These minor things did not inconvenience our stay-just a small recommendation. ❤️

GREAT HOLIDAY HOME

It was a fantastic holiday home to stay at! With the views directly onto the beach, however is a little far to walk to an area on the beach safe to swim away from rocks, but is worth the walk. However the quiet area, allowed for a very relaxing holiday that provided lots of laughs and fun times and most importantly, lots of mud crab hunting. Owners of the home are very lovely and always available, which is handy for pack ups and arrivals or any trouble you run into on your holiday. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was amazing!

We as a group really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved riding their bikes up and down the no through road and also collecting rock crabs from the beach just metres from our door. All round great stay, beds were comfy.

Our stay at High Tide on Palmer

The property was in a beautiful position overlooking the sea and the activities of the harbour. The beds were very comfortable with supplied linen. There was a bar fridge as well as a full-sized fridge. The kitchen was easy to use with a full set of cooking instruments. Maybe a few more soft drink glasses would be helpful.

Better inspection on property

House was very good but house needs better inspection after guests leave The toaster and kettle were broken only a few pegs were left gas cylinder left empty fry pan and saucepan badly scratched no flyspray bbq and tomato sauce opened and left in pantry single bed had a bad stain this may help in the future
