What looked like a dam in the photos turned out to be a pool in a water course and was the perfect spot to be. Once the sun got low it felt private enough for us be comfortable and feel alone out there which was exactly what we wanted. "Location perfect, house was lovely. Beds fantastic. Was not a modern home but it was perfect for our families. The other reviews did have me very worried about our stay but I was very pleasantly surprised. The patio and views were just spectacular. The is no TV upstairs but we actually loved that. Please don’t let the previous reviews stop you from booking. We had a great holiday. "

"A lovely home but not ideal for 8 women who have not seen each other for a while and were a bit excited. We constantly had to remind ourselves when outside on the balcony. Neighbours deliberately stood in the street and counted heads and may have recorded us talking. Great home and facilities and location."

"The unit itself was great and the proximity to beach, petrol, cafe, restaurant, grocery store so convenient. Far less hectic than Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay but close enough for an easy drive and day out."
