  • Come relax and clear your mind and soul at The Peridot. The chalet is named after the Peridot gem known for its positive energy. Nestled in Neddies Harbour - Norris Point within beautiful Gros Morne National Park, our 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath chalet is the perfect accommodation for your stay as this tranquil location provides breathtaking views of the mountains and Bonne Bay.

    After a day of exploring the park, The Peridot will offer therapeutic amenities that will help foster your emotional balance, sanctuary and inner peace. These amenities include a propane fireplace, a jetted tub in main bath and a jacuzzi tub in master suite. Or enjoy sitting on the beautiful wrap around deck and inhale the surrounding beauty. These are just a few of the comforts that await you at The Peridot Chalet!
    This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
    A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
    Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.

Le chalet est au coeur du Parc de Gros Morne avec une belle vue sur le paysage grandiose. L’intérieur est chaleureusement décoré et luxueux. Le foyer du salon et le plancher chauffant de la cuisinette ajoutent une touche de confort.

Comfortable stay with incredible views. Great communication before & during stay.Everything you need is easily discovered. There are 3 decks with water and mountain views - we loved AM coffee on deck off kitchen and afternoon sun out back. The design layout offers great comfort zones for both family gathers and peaceful moments. We appreciated the thoughtful planning of the Peridot experience.

This house was perfect for our week stay in the area with friends. Close to hiking trails in Gros Morne, quick drive to Rocky Harbour, which is a must visit. Yvonne was a great host. Quickly responded to inquiries. The house was very clean. Really loved the outdoor wrap around decks. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location if you’re looking to explore Gros Morne. The outside decks and grill made for extra sitting and socializing after a day of hiking. The check-in and checkout process was very smooth and the pictures and description of the property was very representational.Being it was cooler the gas fireplace in the living room was a bonus to come home to and unwind.Yvonne, was great to work with and provided ample information on all aspects of the area! Greatly appreciated her help.

This property was very comfortable and well equipped, it is conveniently located to access the rest of the park. Norris point had everything one would need in terms of trails, a great museum shops, and restaurants. We will be back.

Beautiful place

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Incredibly clean and beautifully furnished. The view of the bay and the Tablelands from the deck is awesome. Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Very convenient location in the middle of the park. We loved it!

Master bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Stocked kitchen… beautiful location and views were very nice! Host was very responsive and was in contact with us from the initial booking date….very kind!

The home was roomy and beautifully decorated, with lots of cozy spaces to hang out. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and dishes. The deck is very peaceful in the evenings. There are a couple of high-end restaurants within a couple minutes drive, and other dining options available. It’s about a 30 minute drive to the Western Brook Pond Tour. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home

Perfect set up and location for our extended family of 6. Very well appointed home. Near many attractions in Gross Morne National Park. Beautiful setting. Would higly reccommend.

Beautiful and spotlessly clean. Fully equipped. Yvonne thought of everything to make our stay e joyful. She was quick to respond to any requests. Lovely location too. Highly recommend.

A return visit to Gros Morne

Lovely stay in Norris Point with our grown up kids and son in law. Spent a week in this area about 14 years ago when the kids were young. It was great to re-explore some areas of the park and discover new ones. Cottage was beautiful and so were the nearby restaurants in Norris Point, particularly Black Spruce and Les Chanterelles. Would definitely come back!

Outstanding spot in the Gross Morne National Park area

Spacious, very well equipped house with lovely views across the channel at Neddies Cove. The back deck is great for sitting out in the late afternoon. Bedrooms are super comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for preparing dinner for four and had every piece of kitchen equipment you could possibly need. Will definitely try and revisit at some point.
