"Unfortunately this property needs a great deal of maintenance and cleaning. We arrived late at night to find a back slider open and it could not be locked. In addition , two other windows would not lock and the one in the king suite whistled all night with the wind because it was not properly set. While doing a security check we found garbage under the beds and the carpet is nothing short of filthy and most of the furniture is old and stained and the supplies and linens are clearly needing to be...

"Walter is a wonderful host. He helps you in any way that he can. The casita was clean and welcoming. The pecan grove is very lovely and quiet. The neighborhood is lovely. This casita is on the east side of town. There is a wonderful authentic mexican bakery. Well worth the visit. If I return to El Paso I would stay there again. Good luck Walter. "First off the property owner was very welcoming from the start. I asked for an early check in and she was was quick to answer with a yes. As soon as we got to the area of location we noticed hospital near,restaurant/ fast food, downtown and of course the Dan Haskins center which is about a 4 min drive for an event we were attending.
