"Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. Again, very cool house but just think...

"Small quiet town great to get away from it all. Wineries with live music and small town dining nearby. Easy to navigate the area by car. Katy trail in walking distance. Very clean and comfortable house. Had everything we needed and more!"

"The house was clean and well cared for. The bed was comfortable. The house was well stocked. The hot water was out one morning, but the host had it corrected within an hour. There's a side door that can be closed off, we didn't even know he was there. Very responsive and kind! There's only one bathroom, which was a small inconvenience. But this was a great place for us and our two boys. "

"It was clean, beds were comfortable and there were many unexpected extras like coffee, snacks, water. Beer and soda for purchase, qtips, cotton balls,, body wash, shampoo and cream rinse, makeup remover pads, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Also plenty of toilet paper and very easy to get into. Having a light on the porch is fantastic because I’ve arrived at other places at night like this time and there was no light so you’re digging for your phone to turn the flashlight on. "House was very easy to locate. It was in the middle of town and close to many places to eat. House has a very good view of the sunrise. Since it snowed during our stay, we very much appreciated the use of the garage. House was decorated for the holiday which was very thoughtful and nice. "
