"We made a last minute decision to come to Duluth to watch our son & his girlfriend run the Grandma’s Marathon, their first marathon! This place is so cute, super clean, and right across the street from Lake Superior. It was perfect!"

"Beautifully appointed quaint cottage with fun amenities. Loved the games downstairs and the beach access from the back door. Fantastic location close to fun bars and restaurants in Duluth. We had a blast!"

"This cabin was fantastic to unplug and get away for a nice weekend. The hills on the way to cabin were a little more than expected but doable. Pack light and have a buddy to help push the cart. The sauna was amazing and if you shower when you are done the water will be warmed up. We loved every minute. Temps were 40's to 60's and the cabin stayed nice and warm. No issues with the composting toilet, there was plenty of solar power, drinking water, blankets and firewood. Head lamp recommend. We...

The alpine slide and gondola are just down the street and Lutsen is close to lots of parks and other small towns. Bring s'mores supplies and roasting sticks for the outdoor fire pits! "

"My family stayed at this lovely rental for four nights, including skiing at Lutsen and hiking nearby State Parks. The view of Lake Superior is amazing. The home layout is great for a family, with two bedrooms up and one on the lower walkout level. Each bedroom has its own bath. "Another year spent at this beautiful house! This was our 4th year staying at the house and the first year that it was raining the majority of our stay. We used the nearby hotel’s pool which was great. There was plenty to do inside with games and movies and we found agates down at the lake during the breaks between the rain breaks. "Great property for a mid-size group. We had 4 adults and 2 young children. The upstairs room has a trundle bed, that worked well for our young kids with us nearby and the other adults had their own spaces downstairs. There is not much yard, so kids played inside/on deck. "We had a great third annual trip to the Getaway with the family (two grandparents, two parents, two kids (4 & 2), and two dogs! As always, it's a perfect, short walk from Downtown Grand Marais and a short drive from many many awesome activities."
