Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed here as it was close to Elkins resort, where we had a friend’s wedding. What a great setting! Beautiful accommodations and very well laid out. Comfortable bed. Lots of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Amazing place!

We stayed here for the second time and loved it! Our kids have named it “the treehouse” and it’s our go to place to stay at Priest. Location is fantastic…set in the trees…just a short drive to the lake. The pictures don’t do the place justice at all!

Stay was very nice. Only complaint was the bathroom door didn't latch/lock. Beautiful property!

Clean and incredibly spacious

The pictures don't do justice to this beautiful apartment! We really felt like we were on vacation while sitting on couches in the great room with high ceilings and the pleasant forest view. Also enjoyed the available reading material.

Fun at Priest lake

The guest house was great, roomy, and clean. Close to store, gas station, lake and coffee shop. The way the house is situated- you are in your own world so it’s nice and private. The peaceful environment made it easy to relax. Three bathrooms allowed all of us to spread out. This was a perfect place for our priest lake getaway.

Priest Lake

Owner was available, gracious, and easy communication. Wish she were our neighbor! Place was spacious, surrounded by trees. Serene and very quiet. Suggest curtains/blinds in back bathroom facing hill. Easy access to Priest Lake and lakeside towns. We couldn't have more pleased with our stay!

Nicest Vacation Rental Ever!!!

I kid you not, this place is perfect in every way. I am a chef and the kitchen is chef worthy. We kayak and there aren't that many public kayak launches on Priest Lake. Most are in the state parks and there are hefty fees to launch. Just a couple of miles from Nordman is a public beach with a picnic area and a short portage to the beach launch and NO FEE!!! LOL The host is awesome too. Very warm and charming. Highly recommended. Scott, Karen and Carli

Lovely cabin in the woods

The property was very nice and tranquil. Perfect location. Convenient amenities. It appeared very clean upon arrival. The property manager was very kind and responsive. My suggestions for improvement are to add a manual inside the home with instructions about locking the home, checkout, garbage disposal, pest control, etc. While we understand mice are a part of being in the woods, I didn’t appreciate not knowing their was a previous mice problem in the home. Therefore the first night we left our dry food on the kitchen counter where the mice got into our bread & cookies. I wish I was warned about that ahead of time. I would be happy to return to the property but suggest more guest instructions and better pest control.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful! Very clean and well equipped! Beautifully situated in a wooded area near many hiking trails. We cancelled in the summer due to smoky conditions and the host graciously changed our reservation to the fall even though she wasn’t obligated to do that. We are happy we came now because the trees were so beautiful! We will be back!

It feels like you are far out in the woods in a modern cabin with all the amenities you could want. A perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with people you love.

Perfect getaway!

Kathleen’s place is a perfect getaway spot: close to skiing in winter, hiking and boating in the summer. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, and it’s a lovely place in a beautiful spot. It’s not the best place from which to telework, but if you have an emergency and need high speed WiFi, the Priest Lake library is perfect in a pinch, even from the parking lot. We will definitely return in a different season!

Winter Paradise!

Beautiful and wonderfully appointed getaway sanctuary! We were able to disconnect from the world and enjoy our time away from it all. Great location that provided easy access to snowmobile trails, hiking, and snowshoeing. Kathleen was a wonderful hostess and made sure our stay was perfect. Look forward to returning.

WOW, Great refresher & time away

OMG, what a place of heaven Kathleen built. We showed up Friday late afternoon Kathleen & Louie her dog, meet us at the driveway. They both welcomed us with a huge smiles, tails wagging and a huge North Idaho welcome. Kathleen showed us the guest house which was on the back side of her shop, total piece and quite. We walked in and thought this is where we retired. All the homemade wood working, high ceilings, bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen was so amazing. Kathleen told us the history of building this guest house and her daughter telling her to post it online. This truly was the place my wife and I needed to unplug and relax for the weekend. No TV channel surfing or cell service to worry about. It was very peaceful to listen to the bird’s chirp and listen to the chipmunks’ play in the tree's. We turned up the propane fireplace and popped some pop corn, ate some fresh grapes and had a glass of ice cold root beer. In the mornings, the sunshine popped through all the glass windows lighting up the living room and kitchen. The deck was a great place for coffee in the morning and relaxing for the evening. Thank you again Kathleen & Louie you have a piece of heaven, thank you for sharing it with us. This is one of the best memories my wife and I will have and we plan too share this experience with our friends. We plan on coming up again.
