"My gosh this place is so adorable and cozy. We stayed only one night, but already have plans to come back. The communication ahead of our arrival was great. The check in was smooth. The location is quiet, beautiful and serene. Would recommend to anyone wanting to escape for a bit."

"The penthouse is more incredible than the pictures show. We loved all of the special touches - murals, cows, old school video game machine, hanging chairs. We had plenty of shampoo, soap, tp, towels, coffee. I loved hearing the clock tower from the courthouse. I've never been on The Square after businesses are closed; we really enjoyed the quiet ambience. There is not a door to the bedroom, so privacy may be a factor if you are sharing the rental with friends/family. Similarly, the beautiful...

"This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in Galena. We have stayed at a lot of them. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Love the TV watching setup and the furniture was comfortable. So unusual in a rental. Both my husband and I have back issues so need support and a way to put up our feet. First time we went home without pain/discomfort. Loved that one of the showers was a normal size and not a tiny square. We stayed for a week and didnt need the air conditioning with the windows open...

"We spent a long holiday weekend at Timberon Lodge. The accommodations were comfortable and included all the comforts of home. We enjoyed all the perks in Galena territory such as indoor/outdoor pools, a marina, beautiful golf courses, pickleball and especially the screened porch at Timberon Lodge where we had many lively conversations while enjoying the summer weather. Our host was readily available for any questions and information as needed."

"Great big home. Lots of space for everyone. We had a family vacation complete with kids and grandkids and it was the perfect place. Thing for all ages, For inclement weather, plenty of space to play games, screens for movie streaming, or hang out and play some pool or ping pong. On the nice days, everyone loved the animals, soccer and baseball fields for open play time or hang out close by and play close to house. Downtown Galena is about 20 minute drive so more entertainment options are close....

"This property offers the luxury of a resort with the down-home experience of a ranch. Peaceful, gorgeous views - especially at sunset from the "Quiet Rock" deck. Or the sunrise from the swing near the Main Lodge. Mark is a gracious host who shared his love of the property by introducing us to Waffles, the donkey, Flowers, the cow, & numerous other animals. "A terrific getaway for an extended family.........Our family (all four generations) enjoyed this property on a recent weekend. The grounds are extensive, covering several acres. The main house sits elevated high above an extensive meadow. It has suites on 3 floors and we used all 3 floors but only the main kitchen (there are two others). We used the basement and second floor for the bedrooms only. The main kitchen opens up to a large dining area/gathering room with enough seating room to...

"My husband and I rent a house in the Galena Territories for our 5 adult children, their significant others and my two grandchildren each summer. This was such an exception house! The golf simulator turn movie theater made the trip. Of course the hot tub was used daily if not twice daily, the fire pit so convenient. Joe was great…had to reach out to hi. And he immediately responded. Would rent again in a heartbeat."
