The pictures of the condo are deceiving.
We had so many issues, not sure where to begin. Washing machine didn’t work, 2 inches of water all over, I had to mop 3x. No mattress pad on master bedroom bed, no wash clothes, drapes/sheer curtains on back door slider were stained, chair in tv room stains all over, rug is worn and dirty, wood trim on cabinet door on bottom by garbage can all broken looks like from water damage. Victor was hard to get in touch with and didn’t respond-he sent Gloria who was very sweet but didn’t understand English, fortunately my husband can get by with the Spanish he knows. I told her and showed her the mattress pad missing and no wash clothes, she immediately brings back towels and sheets-I showed her again and my husband spoke in Spanish to her and she got it right second time. Thursday night we had a flood in laundry area and leaked all the way into kitchen, I demanded someone come out even though Victor said too late, I told him send someone immediately there’s a problem. Maintenance tech came at 9p he said he would be back Friday morning to fix, we were out all day and when we came back at 5 PM nothing was fixed I messaged Victor several times the maintenance guy finally returned and he said it would not be fixed till Monday. Monday is when we checked out so we had no wash machine. I don’t do my laundry on vacation, but I like to do the towels and beach towels. And because of a broken wash machine I was unable to do that. Instead I mopped up all the water from the filled machine. On Friday, I message Victor asking if there was another unit available because we had black ants all over the kitchen countertop and red fire ants on the floor outside the laundry room and also found a red fire ant in my toothbrush holder, it was unacceptable and I asked if he could send an exterminator and he never replied. The pool area is nice but old and couch was dirty, tiles by the pool are broken and someone could get hurt if not cared. Very disappointed in this unit and with Victor. I feel we should be compensated and I do have a case with VRBO. Victor you claim to be a Superhost but you really disappointed us with not responding to us at times. I missed 2 dinner reservations because of problems with your unit. I’ve never cried on vacation but I did because of this. I would not recommend this unit to anyone and as far as Victor goes he needs to provide a better way to communicate with his guests. I demand a refund.
