"On arrival early evening the landlord showed me to my room and was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. There was a musty smell throughout the room and also the stairs outside. May have had the carpets cleaned at some recent point. "Great little, old quirky cottage in a pleasant village!
Nice and warm, cosy cottage and a well stocked kitchen with tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc to hand. All facilities including dish washer and washing machine if you need it. Host was responsive and helpful too.
On the whole it was very clean, a few things need fixing like tiles outside the back door but it didn’t take away the charm of the place.
