we spent 6 weeks doing a road trip... stayed at many Ryokans along the way including many of the famous onsen towns. This was the best .. not an easy place to get to but well worth the time and effort. WONDERFUL

Guesthouse Voketto - Hostel
若いオーナーさんのホスピタリティが素晴らしく、色々なお話を聞かせていただき楽しい時間を過ごせました。 お食事は、50代の私たち夫婦にとって「美味しいものを少しずつ」という絶妙なボリューム感で、最後まで心地よく完食できました。 当日はあいにくの土砂降りでしたが、かえってそれが贅沢に感じられるほど。テレビのない静かな空間で、コーヒーを片手にのんびりと流れる時間を堪能できました。 日常を忘れてリフレッシュしたい方にぜひおすすめしたい宿です。次回はお庭でのバーベキューを楽しみに、また伺いたいと思います！

Kanata Riverview House
It was such a lovely house. It was so nice to have all the space for everyone in the family, and at the same time the games and kitchen allowed us to have more family time together.

A hot spring inn located in the Chiku Gorge surrou / Haibaragun Shizuoka
流しそうめんは、こどもの食いつきが抜群でした。往路で新金谷のトーマスフェスタを満喫、河原の臨時駐車場の待ち時間も、広場で凧揚げをして楽しみました。アプト式の電車で千頭駅まで往復、トーマスチームに会えて、思い出に残る旅行でした。両国吊り橋の入り口のピザ屋さん、両国吊り橋茶屋さん、本格的なピザが堪能できますよ

Absolutely beautiful house, plenty of space with a beautiful garden and large kitchen. I loved the smell of the aged wood, very cozy and even has an air conditioner.
