We absolutely loved the view from the balcony of this apartment! It was also clean enough and provided ample space for our family of seven, which was a huge benefit. We all slept soundly and enjoyed our time here. The only hiccup we experienced was upon arrival, as the instructions appeared to be outdated. However, the host was incredibly quick to respond and help us sort it out. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the spaciousness and the beautiful view.

En las fotos parecía otra cosa. Las vistas desde la terraza brutales, pero el interior del apartamento es un desastre. La casa huele mal, moqueta, colchas, sábanas, toallas. Es como si se acabase de ir una familia sin limpiar la casa. La cocina tiene fundida La Luz de la campaña. Todo el menaje es muy viejo y usado. Lavavajillas y nevera están muy bien. Deberían hacer una limpieza a fondo y reemplazar toda la ropa de casa.

Wonderful location! That is the big reason for staying here. Quiet at night, beach view and access. The tram just out back and bakery/groceries/restaurants at your doorstep. The check in was bumpy with VRBO sending different information than host and the bathroom could have used a little more attention but at this price with this location, it didn’t bother us.

appartement tel qu'annoncé et des plus comme chaises, coussins et parasols de plage, souliers d'eau pour la plage de galet, même nous l'avions prévu. Proche de Cap 3000 qui offre un stationnement gratuit durant 3 heures où il y a une plage de sable pour les enfants. Beaucoup de couverts disponibles et tout ce qu'il faut pour se concocter des plats simples. Près d'épiceries et fruiterie. Vue incroyable du balcon bien équipé. Nous aurions apprécié un peu de savon pour le balcon et les planchers qui n'étaient pas propres à l'arrivée. 1 sac de poubelle, et 2 papiers de toilette pour 6 pour une semaine c'est un peu juste. Endroit sécuritaire nous louerions de nouveau avec plaisir

Emplacement de choix, tout est à proximité et face a la mer!!L’appartement était ok pour la propreté mais pas plus.Il faudrait renouveler un peu au niveau du confort car vraiment usés et désuets tant au niveau de la vaisselle et ustensiles que les draps et couvertures.L’arrivée n’était pas claire mais l’hôte a été réactif.

The property was beautiful and an amazing location looking over the Mediterranean Sea. However the stay would have been perfect with little touches such as more than 1.5 toilet rolls, coffee pods for the machine and more comfortable mattresses on the beds in both bedrooms. It is the little things that make the renter feel valued

Vacation in Nice

This was an absolute gem. A few steps from both trolly and bus lines along the promenade. It also had easy access to the beach. In spite of it being closer to the airport, we found it to be very quiet and slept well. We also really loved the balcony and watching the sea. I can highly recommend it.

Tolle Lage - aber renovierungsbedürftig

Das Appartement hat eine tolle Lage. Man kommt mit der Strassenbahn schnell in die Innenstadt und hat doch das Meer direkt vor der Tür. So konnten wir jeden Morgen und jeden Abend schwimmen. Der Ausblick ist grandios. Allerdings liegt zwischen dem Appartement und der Promenade des Anglais eine 6-spurige Strasse, es ist also dementsprechend laut, wenn man auf dem Balkon sitzt. Die beiden Schlafzimmer liegen an einer ruhigeren Strassenseite, die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung hat uns leider nicht gefallen, zudem sind die Betten durchgelegen und alles müsste renoviert werden. Die Sauberkeit in Küche und Bad war grenzwertig. Im oberen Stockbett der Kinder fehlt ein Gitter, so dass unsere Tochter Angst hatte, heraus zu fallen. Wir haben die Matratze daher kurzerhand auf den Boden gelegt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war ok.

Good property but needs some TLC

The location of the property was good but you need the tram to be working to go to Old Nice. Public transport in FR is tricky with closures and strikes etc. The bathroom needs major cleanup with mold everywhere due to the lack of good exhaust. The owner is nice and tries his best but the apartment is not stocked well. We had to get multiple things which you would expect to be present in the place. The kids bedroom is good for 2 not 3 people but the sofa was nice and the AC's worked. The washer is very small and there is no dryer (only hang dry..)The balcony has a good view and you can see sunrise. Very close to the airport which was helpful. Property manager did provide all the details before arrival but VRBO site had very different instructions, so was a bit confusing but owner was responsive to guide us through.

Sejour a Nice de quelques jours

L' appartement esf tres bien situe et desservi par les transports en commun ce qui permet de visiter facilement nice et les villes des environs ( gare et aeroport accessible en tram)Au niveau de la decoration il meriterait un rafraichissement et le mobilier de la terrasse devrait etre change.Le menage est fait avant l arrivee des locataires mais certains endroits ne semble pas avoir ete nettoyes depuis plusieurs annees.( notamment dans la salle de bains et la cusine) ce qui gache un peu le sejour.Etant donne l etat de la moquette dans les.chambres j aurais aime passe l aspirateur mais il n y en avait pas.

Great location

The location is great, just minutes from the airport, complete view of the beach/water. Just walk across the street and you’re in it! Large condo/apartment plenty of room. Super cool that the bathroom floor is heated! Little market just minutes a walk away. Bus line right in the front to take you down to the main area.Super great place!!

Great apartment by the sea

The views from the terrace are spectacular. The tram is right behind the apartment and plenty of food and stores within a short walk. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent view, close to trains and busses.

We stayed in late July. It was our first trip to Nice with kids (6 and 8), parents and grandmother. Pros: Beautiful view of the sea. Transit and busses were less than a 5 minute walk from the property. The layout of the apartment worked well for us (kids’ room, parents’ bedroom and pull-out couch in the living room. )The elevator was convenient. Neighbors were friendly. Cons: The English version of the apartment instructions didn’t include the building keypad code and the physical building keys we received didn’t work. We had to rely on waiting for friendly residents to let us in to the building until we could reach the host the next day to get the code. The host let us know that WhatsApp was the quickest communication method and was very responsive thereafter. We let the host know that there were dirty towels in a closet when we arrived and he told us he’d alert his cleaners of the issue.

Just what we needed

Although it's not walking distance from old town Nice, you can't beat the relaxing view. Public transportation was easy to access and figure out. The apartment itself was older, but it had everything we needed for our stay. My husband got sick and stayed inside most of the time but he did enjoy the TV time and view. Basic necessities were helpful, including the grocery cart, umbrellas and beach mat.

Great apartment location and space.

This apartment had plenty of space for our family of four to spread out. The view was amazing and so convenient to take the elevator down and have a swim in the sea. It was close to restaurants and grocery and the tram was right behind the building so we could get to the rest of Nice and the riviera. Would recommend.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. I stumbled into this property by luck/accident and could not be any happier with my experience. Let's start with the headline, you are staying in an upper story apartment on the Promende des Anglais in Nice. My wife and I loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the Promende. That was something we could do for a long time without getting bored. I read some other reviews about the dated style of the apartment. If that is a deciding factor for you, then stay in a hotel, pay a lot more money and you still will not have the view of this apartment. The apartment is spacious and when I rented, well within a budget. It is clean and again has breath taking views of the Côte d’Azur. If this apartment in available when you are traveling to Nice and you don't rent it, then someone else got lucky at your expense. I would love the opportunity to return to Nice and if I do, this is the first place that I will try to book. Merci de votre hospitalité.

View and Sea access go a long way

Had a lovely time. All day at the beach was wonderful. Was able to cook a delicious meal in the kitchen. Less good - Thierry accidentally sent me instructions to check in at a different location which was difficult after traveling. He was kind enough to drive us to the correct spot but ugh. The elevator did not work after our first afternoon - and the apartment is on the 7th (8th) floor. The table on the deck fits so tightly that you cannot sit around it comfortably. There is no dryer. Only washer which is common but I think listing said both. Might stay here again in spite of shortcomings.
