This is a ‘bare minimum effort’ type of establishment, even to French standards. When we were given the keys to a room that was not what we had reserved (and paid for in advance), they corrected their mistake by letting out a huge sigh and told us: “we’ll upgrade you for free”… by transferring us to the room we had paid for. Wow thanks. Initially the room was stocked with free water and a small espresso machine with coffee pods. They never restocked and when we asked for new coffee pods, someone showed up and barged in our room to drop off a bag of sugar packs and instant coffee. No pods for the coffee machine apparently. Look, it’s not that big a deal, but the attitude we got (exasperated employees, bare minimum in terms of answering simple questions)… during a low-season period nonetheless… it smells of just plain old bad management.
