If you're looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel near St Paul de Vence, this place is it. The staff (morning/day/night) is incredible friendly, and they were able to book a table for us on very short notice to the Colombes d'Or in St Paul. The large bedroom had gorgeous view to an adjacent olive tree orchard, and we also enjoyed the hotel lounge and its "honor bar" (you have to try the Armagnac). Oh, and did I mention the incredible buffet breakfast ?

Lovely independent hotel near St Paul de Vence
This a lovely friendly hotel just outside of St Paul de Vence. There are many things to recommend it, especially the friendly and helpful team. However, you should consider it is outside of the town and although walkable (less than 3km) you are walking on roads which we did not feel comfortable to do after dark. We also went in September and discovered that the hotel restaurant was closed so the only way to have an evening meal was to leave the hotel and taxi's are not plentiful here.

The most beautiful place!! I would come back to Nice just to Stay at this hotel again. Everything was perfect, rooms are big and the service is just beyond! We we’re on our way to a wedding and ordered food that never came. The owner Virginia personally made all 6 of us baguette sandwiches and brought them up. Anything we needed was taken care of. Will definetly be back soon.

Bel hôtel dans un écrin de verdure.
3j et 3 nuits dans un endroit verdoyant , au milieu de la nature et des cigales. L'environnement est plus que reposant . L'accueil est top et le personnel chaleureux et attentif Les gâteaux et confiture maison au petit déjeuner sont un vrai délice. On se sent comme à la maison mais en mieux !

Delightful characterful small hotel
Delightful setting, quiet lots of character lovely swimming pool. Excellent buffet breakfast overlooking vineyard. Very convenient for visiting St Paul de Vence and Fondation Maeght, very short drive away.

Loved it!
We were surprised with the great location, about 5 minute drive to galleries and restaurants. A wonderful and helpful staff. We’ve already raved to friends and hope to return someday.

Heaven on Earth. Truly this place is the perfect place to call home for a visit to the Provence/ the Riviera. Surrounded by gardens and the smell of honeysuckle, the staff is wonderful, the rooms are lovely and the pool is exceptional. Walking distance to town.

Great Location
Female desk staff were exceptionally helpful. Really went out of their way to help. Great location near very high end hotels. Recently nicely redone with adequate sized room for Paris. Convenient to two Metro lines.

Formidable séjour au calme
Excellent hôtel dans un charmant mas provençal rénové tout en conservant le charme de la bastide. Accueil et service très sympathique et convivial. Hôtel situé dans un quartier très calme avec un parc et un espace piscine très charmant et agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien insonorisée, la literie est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner buffet est délicieux avec des pains savoureux et des viennoiseries très fraiches, le jus de fruit est du pur jus de qualité, le choix de produits proposés est parfait. A proximité du village ce hôtel est très bien placé pour la visite du village et les excursions dans l'arrière pays niçois.

Un havre de paix tres confortable et accueillant
On se sent chez soi, le bâtiment est une grosse villa plutôt qu'un immeuble, le personnel est au petit soin , et malgré tout très discret. C'est au calme au milieu des oliviers, aucun bruit ! La piscine est super tranquille, et bien entretenue; La chambre avec une terrasse, toute refaite, salle de bains très confortable, un petit déjeuner avec des produits frais de qualité, tout est très bien .

Excellent. The only problem was that there wasn't a proper screen or curtain in the bathroom, so theoretically people could see in. Glad it was the off-season. Breakfast really great.

Une oasis à proximité de Saint Paul
Séjour en avant-saison dans cet hôtel de charme perché juste au dessus de la fondation Maeght et permettant un accès très aisé (à pied) au village de Saint Paul. L’hôtel est situé dans un lieu reposant ; Belle vue sur une oliveraie très récemment replantée d'arbres trentenaires ; calme absolu. Notre chambre moderne au rdc, de dimension moyenne, possédait un patio privatif et une sdb parfaitement bien équipée.Propreté irréprochable. Le séjour en avant saison ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine ni du restaurant qui y est rattaché. Les petits déjeuners sont parfaits tant en variété qu'en qualité des produits proposés. Le personnel à l'accueil est attentionné, d'un abord simple et chaleureux. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Début saison réouverture avec nettoyage des extérieurs en cours. Endroit calme agreable petit déjeuner copieux Chauffage au sol très chaud il a fallu dormir les fenêtres ouvertes au mois de mars mais mieux vaut avoir chaud que froid, petit bémol ce sont des couvertures et non des couettes :( La literie est bonne, la déco est minimaliste mais suffisante L accueil est chaleureux Je recommande l endroit mais un peu compliqué a trouver sans brancher son gps

A very calm and relaxing environment.
Close to the beautiful village of St Paul de Vence with the wonderful art work at the Maeght Foundation as well as numerous smaller art galleries in the village. The hotel staff couldn't be more helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel.

A deux, le petit nid
Pour faire une surprise a l'occasion de l'anniversaire de ma compagne, le lieu est exceptionnel. La piscine au mois d'avril à ete le petit côté idyllique. L'extérieur est constitué d'un champ de vigne. Le soleil présent nous a fait découvrir une superbe région.

Fantastic hotel for couples with a car
If you are looking for a relaxing break in the hills near Nice, then look no further. I spent hours reading hundreds of reviews for hotels in this area and everything pointed to les Messugues. I'm glad that I spent so longing looking. This small hotel feels like a home away from home and offers a magical escape from modern life. Best to book a room overlooking the vineyard as some of the other rooms overlook the driveway. If you want to push the boat out, try Alain Llorca's high end restaurant which is a short drive away.

호텔 내에 수영장이 분위기가 굉장히 아름다웠습니다. 약간 안쪽 방을 주셔서 조금 무섭?긴 했지만 3명이라는 애매한 숫자에도 큰 침대 하나, 작은 침대 하나 이렇게 있어서 이용하기 편리했습니다. 다만 여름이라 모기가 엄청... 많아서 본의 아니게 프랑스 모기들에게 헌혈을 많이 하고 왔네요ㅜㅜ

Lovely hotel for a 2 night break
Second time to stay here and our room was even nicer than before. I love the relaxed and upmarket feel of this boutique hotel, but I have to say the price of the honesty bar seemed to have gone up immensely in the two years since we had been here.

Charming little hotel near Saint Paul De Vence
One of the nicest small hotels that I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was an extra euro 15 per person and it was great even had scrambled egg, bacon and sausage! The pool is beautiful and quiet and free towels. Best was the lovely bistro at euro 35 for 3 course dinner each night, limited menu but excellent, so good we ate there 3 nights out of 4. There is a honesty bar open 24 hours, so you can take a coffee, wine or champagne at any time. Bedrooms are well furnished and showers was good, air-con worked well. Looking forward to our next visit.

Outstanding hotel experience.
We were welcomed warmly and treated very well at this delightful hotel. The location, hotel building, grounds, pool, breakfast and our room were all exceptional. It is a place that in an ideal world we would dream to have the opportunity to stay for an extended period of time.

À l occasion du réveillon du jour de l an nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel charmant et passé la soirée à Saint Paul de Vence.nous avons été fort bien reçu. Le petit déjeuner face aux vignes sous la véranda...un pur delice!! seul bémol :il faisait trop chaud dans la chambre et impossible de régler la température. A part cela nous conseillons cet établissement et y reviendrons aux beaux jours pour déguster la cuisine d Alain Llorca à cette occasion.

Hotel pulito e dalla bella atmosfera
Pur avendo soggiornato una sola notte questo hotel ci ha colpito. Atmosfera bellissima, molto curato e pulito, camere con bagno con doccia spaziose e accoglienti, posizione ottima sia per visitare la fondazione Maeght che la vicinissima St Paul (Nizza è comunque vicinissima). Bellissima esperienza, anche grazie allo staff dell'albergo che ci ha accolto con simpatia e gentilezza offrendoci tutte le attenzioni necessarie. Da ripetere!

Oase der Ruhe - stimmt!
Der in vielen Bewertungen (und Reiseführerbeschreibungen) vergebene Titel "Oase der Ruhe" stimmt wirklich total. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, aus dem Frühstücksraum (mit einem sehr liebevollen Buffet; abends Selbstbedienungsbar) schaut man direkt auf einen Weinberg. 13 Zimmer, eher familiär. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit (in unserem Fall war das Gepäck auf dem Flug verlorengegangen ...). Die Gestaltung der Zimmer hat einen mediteranen, aber unaufdringlichen Touch - insgesamt ist das Ambiente sehr "(rustikal) südfranzösisch". M.E. wurde das gesamte Hotel vor nicht allzulanger Zeit komplett durchrenoviert (die Bewertungen, das Hotel sei "outdatet" und "abgewohnt" kann ich nicht teilen - aber vielleicht waren diese Kunden auf der Suche nach etwas anderem). Wir waren Ende November dort - eine eher untypische Jahreszeit für Südfrankreichbesuche -, um eine Ausstellung in der Fondation Maeght (Christo) zu besuchen (die nur wenige hundert Meter Luftlinie entfernt ist, allerdings kann man leider nicht auf dem kürzesten und direktesten Weg dort hinlaufen [Privatgelände]; die Landschaft war wunderbar herbstlich, tolles Licht, kaum Touristen, sehr entspannt.(Achtung: eigener Restaurantbetrieb im Hotel nur Juni-September). Alle wichtigen touristischen Anziehungspunkte in der Region sind von dort gut zu erreichen. Eigener Mietwagen erforderlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Отель могу оценить как много лучше, чем он представлен. Замечательный интерьер, очень чисто и уютно! Очень-очень внимательный персонал!!! Замечательный завтрак ( такое впечатление, что он всегда только-что накрыт), даже в 5-ти звездных отелях часто завтрак выглядит не свежим. Мы отдыхали в разных отелях Прованса, в разных категориях. Этот лучший!!! Не понимаю, почему только три звезды?! А какой виноградник, воздух!!! И очень здорово для детей. Бассейн очень чистый, с приятными диванчиками для отдыха и аппетитным ланчем. Уборка очень хорошая, никаких посторонних запахов, только свежесть. Персонал очень-очень старается. Я бы всем, кто хочет очутиться в атмосфере Прованса, рекомендовала бы приехать сюда непременно. Этот отель теперь наш любимый в Провансе!!!

Le gustó: Limpieza, personal y atención
Plain but charming
Friendly helpful staff, especially Jojo. Location hard to find without gps. Must have a car. Rooms are very plain but had good mattresses and linen. Very clean. Used wifi in lobby because it was too weak in our room. Excellent dinner at poolside restaurant. Short drive to parking lot in Saint Paul de Vence, which is a gorgeous town within a fortress.
