Good property

The apt is perfectly clean, on a perfect location, with all that you need. Only one problem, during the night we have a lot of trash tracks under the window too noisy!

Stunning apartment in fabulous location in the heart of Nice Old Town. We stayed at the end of summer and the location was lively and as described. Great transport links and restaurants nearby. Apartment was spacious with plenty of room to entertain or relax altogether. A very comfortable stay.

It was exactly as advertised including the noise of garbage collection in the earlyish morning. It was generally quiet from 23hr though and the location was brilliant. Lots of good restaurants nearby and easy access to shopping, attractions, port and airport.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious and comfortable apartment. Check-in with Valerie was a breeze and she kindly accommodated our request to stop in before check-in time to drop our luggage. The apartment is very well-stocked with everything you could possibly need and it was spotlessly clean. We loved the very comfortable beds and the big couch in the living room. Valerie was very friendly and responsive and even suggested a wonderful restaurant that we really enjoyed. There were two negatives - the noise of the trash collectors, which was mentioned in the listing and which seems to happen between 6-6:30 every morning. The noise cuts through even the thickest silicone earplugs and on certain days goes on for several minutes. Also, the internet connection was consistently unstable, often to the point of being unusable.Taking the many positives and the two negatives into account, we were happy with our stay and had a good experience.

We LOVE Nice!

We loved everything about Nice and this rental. Location was amazing! Place was spotless. Very comfortable for our family of 5. Valerie was great and we felt right at home with her. Would highly recommend Old Town and this rental for your next visit. We walked to the beach every evening for a swim as it was very hot while we were there. There was a market every morning and evening of our stay that we also walked through and of course evening gelato at Oui, Gelato. We hope to be back for a longer stay. Merci!

Big space by noisy at night

Great location as far as being right in the old town but even though we were warned of noise at night and given earplugs, we had constant broken sleep.people talking loudly till 2am then the bin lorry at 5am. Every night.Shame as it's a lovely apartment.

Don’t be put off by front door !

The location of this apartment in the Old Town is brilliant and quite easy to find. The front door looks a bit ‘tired’ but it does the job well and gives no hint of the comfortable large apartment inside. Valerie, the booking in agent, is excellent and more than helpful. We had a problem linking with WhatsApp (arrival message delayed by 1 hour) which could have been crucial. Happily she stayed on and we met fine. The apartment is both large and comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending it, partly because it is on the first floor with easy access. Our only negative is that the bin men make a lot of noise around 6am - thoughtfully you are given complimentary ear plugs ……

Great location, but serious noise issues

The apartment is well located and nicely equipped, but we barely slept during our stay. It's directly above 16 industrial bins – bars throw bottles in until well past 2am, then multiple trucks arrive from 5am for rubbish collection, bin cleaning, then street cleaning. It’s basically a recycling centre. The 'quiet' bedroom has single-glazed glass doors opening onto the communal stairwell. While shuttered, they didn’t block out noise or light, and with no soundproofing, even normal noise from other residents felt like it was inside the room. Several hen parties were in the building, and their late-night returns (1–4am) were impossible to ignore. Cigarette butts outside those glass doors from a bedroom didn’t make us feel particularly secure. The washing machine, plus air con in that room weren’t working, and while surface-clean, the apartment would benefit from a deep clean. A good space for night owls or groups who plan to be out late — but for anyone else, look elsewhere…

Heart of Old Town Nice

We loved our stay here. We deliberately wanted to stay in the heart of Old Town Nice so we could be surrounded by the energy, people, and culture. Everything we needed was steps away from the door or just a tram ride away.The apartment has plenty of space. Each of our kids had a comfortable bed and bedroom of their own so they could have some quiet and privacy after a long day of exploring. The living room area is quite large with very tall ceilings. We enjoyed sitting around reading, talking, playing cards, and watching a movie or two in that space. Gillian told us ahead of time that the trade-off to being in the heart of old town was that you can hear the noise of the people in the evenings, and the noise of the early morning cleanup crews. We definitely heard it all, but it didn’t make our stay any less enjoyable.We would definitely stay here again, and hope to when we come back.

Apartment building under loud construction

Incredibly loud roto hammering starting at 8 am and lasting throughout the day. We had paid for 4 days and left after 2 because of the cacophony of construction noise directly above us which made sleep and conversation impossible. This property should not be on the market until the construction above it has been completed. We stayed Feb 2-4, 2025. If you are considering booking anywhere near this date, it is advisable that you look elsewhere. We had the opportunity to take a look at the construction upstairs to see what stage it was in and it appears there is quite a ways to go. For the start of our vacation in Nice, this was a nightmare.

Vieux Nice - rue Saint-Vincent

Endroit hyper bien situé et à proximité de tous, épiceries, restaurants, bar, boutiques...toutefois le bémol est que toutes les nuits - 3x des camions circulent pour faire la vidanges des conteneurs à déchets, récupérations des bouteilles et matériaux de tout genre, hyper bruyant. De plus, si vous ne participez pas aux activités nocturnes, les couches tard circulent en va et viens tous les nuits de la semaine, et nous étions en janvier... L'appartement est conviviale, bien organisée pour recevoir un bon 6 personnes et propre. Nous y étions notre petite famille. Pour le prix, je recommande.

Stressful

My search was only for places that could be reached by car. Although the listing says “parking on site,” the small print was that you cannot reach it except on foot from a distance. Also, my ignorance kept me from knowing that in Europe the “first floor” is upstairs (our first floor they call the ground floor) so there were steps to drag our luggage up after walking a long distance. The communication was excellent though, but since I realized these things too late, we could not cancel and so lost our money when we had to stay somewhere more appropriate for our age. Lovely location for young backpackers perhaps. long distance.
