Beyond expectations

Amazing stay! Great beach community. The house was a short walk to the beach. We were able to walk to two beaches and a breakfast place. The host was responsive, welcoming and accommodating. We will be booking here again next summer!

Perfect for families

The house was so organized and ready for guests. The host was especially wonderful and made so many accommodations for my toddler. This was our first "big" trip as a family and this experience made us want to have many more.

The host is terrific and extremely helpful. The property was immaculate and very nicely decorated with modern furnishings. It was very well stocked with anything you might need. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing while social distancing

The house was spotless! So clean and organized. We rode or walked to the small beach or town. The neighborhood was quiet, lovely, and we felt very safe. It was nice to be able to get away and to feel safe doing so during these trying times. Highly recommended this property and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful.

Charming, we’ll stocked, and very comfortable

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely cottage visiting old friends in the area. We could not have been happier with the property. Everything we wanted and needed was provided, including coffee, all condiments, shampoo and conditioner, etc. The electric fireplace was most welcome on cool evenings. Furnishings and decor were new, high end, and very comfortable. Nothing was overlooked. The property manager, Leola, was very welcoming and helpful before and after check in.

Great spot less than a mile from the beach.

This is a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood about a half mile from the beach. It’s an easy walk to a beach with no parking, or you can drive just a block further and pay to park. There are plenty of restaurants and a great ice cream place within just a few minutes of the home. The owner is lovely and was eager to be sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Communication is easy. There are train tracks behind the house, but it isn’t loud at all. My teens definitely want to stay there again and wondered why we don’t spend more time in Niantic.

Just what we needed!

We chose Niantic for our long weekend getaway. Thank you to our host! The house was clean and well equipped. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the supplies provided in the house which included household cleaning items, some toiletries, coffee, waters, numerous pantry items and a bottle of wine!We made use of the ample beach supplies which included plenty of towels, a beach blanket, a beach tote bag, a wagon, a beach umbrella and ice chests (ice bricks in the freezer) there were regular umbrellas available, too.The weather allowed us to enjoy time on the back porch where we watched chipmunks and bunnies running around in the back yard.The house was a quick easy drive to the Black Point Market, Book Barn, Rocky Neck State Park and restaurants. We didn’t walk to the local beach so I can’t comment on that, since we went to Rocky Neck instead.Thank you to our host for the restaurant recommendations, too!We were able to check-in earlier and stay later than the advertised times which was very much appreciated.

Great vacation house and very quiet area

I spent a few days only at the home. The home was totally equipped with everything you need. All new appliances. The house was spotless. Even herbs on the back patio. Everything you need for the beach is in the shed. The host was so helpful. I had a lovely time and intend on going back. Great vacation home

Very nice beach house

We had a great time at this beach house! The owner was so nice and left cold water bottles in the fridge, and even a chilled bottle of wine, which helped because we arrived at night without time to shop.. She said not to worry about shopping for things like paper towels, sandwich bags, and condiments, and she was right! It made it much easier. The A/C was cool and the place was spotless. The walk to the beach was quick, and there was a cooler, chairs and beach towels to use. Thanks so much for your hospitality, Leola!

Wedding bound

Leola was wonderful to work with. The cottage is really well equipped, clean and updated. Easy access to downtown Niantic and East Lyme. Rocky Neck Park was very close. Enjoyed our stay!!
