Very nice house in a great location. Very clean upon arrival and stocked with the basic household stuff. Towels and bedding are high quality, the niagara lavender soap is a nice touch as well.Bathrooms showers are both modern and very nice. Backyard is fenced in and private.Location is great. Short walk to Ryerson park where my kids loved to go swim. Short drive to downtown NOTL.25 minute drive to Niagara Falls.Lots of great wineries and places to eat nearby. Our favorites wineries were Wayne Gretzky Estates and Jackson Triggs.

Cousin Meet Up FUN!!

A little bit smaller than I thought it would be… the 2 other bedrooms only fit a bed and quite small. Master bedroom is very large. Bathrooms are wonderful. Very quiet neighborhood but the parking is very tight and we had a smaller car. The outside space is beautiful but too many mosquitoes because of over growth of bushes in front. Overall, it is a very nice house for 3-4 people.

NOTL

Inside home- very clean. The back deck needs to be swept and or use a blower to clean it. We could not utilize the same, and the greenery does need to be trimmed back getting out of our one vehicle we were attacked by the overgrown shrubs.Very nice overall. Would go back.

Perfect Get-away

We stayed for a week in June. The cottage was perfect for two couples. We sipped wine and ate cheese on the back patio and enjoyed evenings at the game table in the family room. The location is outstanding. It's an easy one-block walk to watch the sunset over Lake Ontario, and close to shops/restaurants in town. It's also an easy drive to Niagara Falls, wineries and hiking trails. We especially enjoyed a kayak trip from Queenston back down to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Splendid Stay, Excellent Location!!

This house worked out perfectly for our family. We had a beautiful stay. A well equipped kitchen for cooking a few meals, a nice set up in the living room, we enjoyed the small table in the living room looking out front as well as the back patio for the morning sun with coffee. We had our dog and the fenced in backyard which was so quaint was perfect for us. The house is older and has been renovated with gorgeous bathrooms and flooring. My only request of the owner is consider new bedding that fits the beds. I would highly recommend this home for comfort and location.
Spring is beautiful time of year to visit, lots of flowers.

Fantastic Location

My hubby and I have always wanted to stay a full week in NOTL and when we finally decided to do it we could not have picked a more perfect home for the two of us and our dog. The location was perfect - close to town but far enough removed; close to the lake and parks. We enjoyed nearby golf and touring the area for future homes. The house was the right size for our needs and everything was orderly and very clean when we arrived. If you are looking for a fantastic rental property look no further!

Nice Stay and Great Location

Stay was nice- location is perfect and overall the space is cozy. The house needs some work- Millwork in guest bathroom coming undone, mildew in showers and overall cleanliness needs to be improved. Linens were also falling apart. We were grateful for the stay but will likely find somewhere else next year.

Excellent location and very clean

We really enjoyed the property and location. In retrospect we Wos have liked an open fire pit. That is just a preference of ours and we knew that there wasn’t one. The location is just outside of town so very quiet but yet walkable to NOTL. We will consider rebooking for our annual trip, likely the same time next year

Great quiet location and a short drive or walk to town Most of teh house was very clean , but the floors were Very dirty , our feet were black. We cleaned our feet and tried it again to make sure and within 15 minutes our feet were black again . It brought this up to the home owner and the only response I received was.. thanks I will forward to cleaning service. NO apology, no I'm very sorry . This wasn't a major issue , but an apology would have bee appropriate. I would recommend this home to others after they clean the floors . LOL

Perfect location and gorgeous property

La Vignette was exactly as described and shown in the online photos. It is a spectacular home with a great back yard. Wonderful, safe neighborhood very close to the historic town - easily walkable. It was exceedingly comfortable and cozy and made for a perfect trip!!

Absolutely spectacular

Perfect location in the most gorgeous neighborhood. Directly across the street from the lake. While there’s not a lake view, within a few short steps you get to a lovely park with benches where you can see the gorgeous sunsets. The inside was delightful and the bed in the master was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in I think ever. The master bath felt like I was at a resort. Only wish the backyard was cleaned a bit more by property Msnagement company as the chairs were a bit dirty to sit on with white shorts, but that’s a very minor issue.

Beautiful location in historic NOTL

Location of the house couldn’t be more perfect for visiting Old Town. The house is a good fit for a couple or a family with small children but it’s a tight squeeze for 4 adults! The house needs some maintenance done. Landscaping was overgrown in driveway and in backyard, things in the house need attention and it could have been cleaner, especially for price point. But, all in all, we enjoyed our 13 days in this property.
