We had a wonderful stay at the Butterfly Cottage in Niagara-on-the-lake. The management company was quick to respond to my inquiries although I would have preferred receiving the check-in codes the day before our arrival rather than same day. It made the process slightly more stressful since we were already in transit by the time we had the information. The home was well stocked with comfortable beds and good kitchen amenities. We were able to prepare meals and enjoy relaxation time in the large dining / living room area. The home was a 20 minute walk to historic downtown which gave our group the option to walk or drive. The neighborhood is beautiful and felt very safe. Thank you for the lovely stay and great memories, Shelley

The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The large dining table was great for the seven of us to eat together and play games. The living room area with a large TV was another great gathering place. All appliances, hot water, showers, and toilets worked well. Clean and fresh towels were provided, and beds were comfortable and professionally made. The backyard is very peaceful and picturesque.

Very nice and exactly like pictured and contained all you might need for a few days. Comfortable beds.Unfortunately the first impression was not great , front of house had not been cleaned for a while. There were many spiderwebs and dead insects around windows.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

We loved the Butterfly Cottage. It was clean and Organized. The beds were comfy. The backyard was peaceful to just and relax. The property manager was quick to respond. Would highly recommend!

Fabulous stay

Spent 3 nights at this property with my sisters. It was a well stocked, clean property with liads of room. The bedroo.s were soacious and very comfortable. Loved the upstairs bathroom.Would recommend this property.

Location!

This is my second time staying at The Butterfly Cottage in Niagara. The location is perfect- a block from the lake and an easy walk to Old Town. The cottage itself is clean, cozy, and well maintained. The owners just did a complete upstairs bathroom renovation, and it looks so good! We enjoyed sitting at the large dining room table, and playing games in front of the gas fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, too! We plan to make NOL an annual trip, and I will always stay at the Butterfly Cottage.

Charming cottage

A wonderful place to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with family. Well stocked kitchen for cooking that turkey dinner. My granddaughters loved the swing!

Lovely cottage in a perfect location

Loved staying at Butterfly Cottage! Walking distance to old town and 2 areas of lake access through beautiful, established neighborhood. Plenty of room for our family and dog, cute little backyard with tree swing and pond. Neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. Our son uses a manual wheelchair and after we helped him up the first 2 small steps into the home, the first floor living area and bedroom worked well for him. Bathroom isn’t truly accessible, but worked for him/us as we help him with all care, but an independent wheelchair user would likely find bathroom access challenging. Overall wonderful stay!

Great girls trip house

We loved the "cottage", it was fully stocked with supplies which we really appreciated! Very clean with lots of seating areas inside and out. Good quality linens and towels. There were 7 of us and felt there was plenty of room for us all. The only thing I would point out is the shower upstairs is a claw foot tub with a shower curtain around it. Those of us using that bathroom found it a bit of a hazard when in the shower as the curtain was long and you were stepping on it while showering as you couldn't have it outside of the tub. It was about a 25 min walk to most restaurants which as fine as we needed the walk after dinner. Would definitely recommend staying here with a group of family or friends.

Perfect for 4 ladies on a girl’s getaway Well located to NOTL shopping and Queen Street Quiet safe feeling neighbourhood Short walk to the lake and a lovely path that goes along the lake and golf course. Quiet restful back deck and sitting area. Great beds, nicely decorated, comfy sitting room, open concept made for easy meal prep without missing out on conversation in the sitting area. Well appointed kitchen with thoughtful starters supplied :) Loved the lavender soap/shampoo that was supplied as well. Great water pressure in the shower, and a wonderful claw foot tub upstairs. Just the perfect home! Would come back in a heartbeat! Thanks
