The property was in the perfect location, off the beaten path, but close to the WEGO stop. We enjoyed all the touristy attractions on the Canadian side and the State Park on the US side. It was nice to relax in the air-conditioned house and have our own bedrooms with bathrooms to retreat to. We had a lovely stay!

Trip for our daughter’s wedding

My husband and I, our 2 sons, 17 yr old daughter and my elderly father traveled from AZ, USA for our older daughter’s wedding. The house had great space to accommodate all of us, including a master bedroom with en suite bathroom on the first floor so my father had his own space and didn’t have to navigate the stairs. The location was great! Just 5 min drive from my daughter and son in laws apt and about the same to the falls. It was a beautiful 1.7 mile walk to the falls! The homeowner Jade was extremely helpful with info prior to booking and made planning very easy! Once arrived, she was quick to answer even the smallest needs. There was a jump in the temperature during our stay which caused the kitchen to be too hot to run the oven, so she immediately delivered a floor fan and had a window AC unit installed right away. This helped tremendously. I had a chance for a short visit with her on the porch one evening and she was absolutely delightful and told me about the nightly fireworks on the falls and the history and age of the home and street we were on. This is a charming 100 yr old Victorian home that shows her age but has been updated, particularly the kitchen, which was perfect for our rehearsal dinner with the in-laws and our cake and champagne celebration after ceremony. This was our first time booking a VRBO and it was wonderful. The host was so accommodating and welcoming. I highly recommend this property. :)

Good rental for large family

We had 6 people and each couple had their own bedroom with an additional unused room. Location was easily accessible to the falls and attractions. Hostess always responded quickly through the message app, which was helpful.. our famuly 3njoywd staying here.

Nice quiet location

Jade was quick to communicate and present at our arrival which made entering the property really easy. The listing showed a room with 2 beds which we did not have access to, but we still had plenty of room. Portable air conditioners in each room definitely helped with the lack of central air. Walkable to the Falls and close to the bus system. We enjoyed our short stay!

Niagara Stay

A little disappointed that the description showed a hot tub but upon arrival there wasn’t one. Also wasn’t aware that the owner would be next door and we were restricted to lights out at 11:00 pm. Also we felt that the rooming situation was a little awkward as not all were couple. Jade did come up with a solution and opened another room for us the last night. For what we were looking for it worked.

White Swan

A beautiful Victorian house that has been updated with plenty of bathrooms & a gourmet kitchen. Great neighborhood. Very walkable to a coffee shop & children’s playground. We walked to the Falls & back. We would stay here again. Thank you for the air conditioners in the bedrooms! In July they were welcome!

Great location!

Overall a good stay! As mentioned in the listing Jade does live on property but was very respectful of our space and helpful. The location was wonderful- 25ish min walk to the falls and Clifton Hill. The multiple bedrooms with two beds worked wonderfully for our family traveling with kids. Was frustrated by a significant additional guest fee, despite being below the number of guests listed. The shower I used had a very slow drain and no curtain liner- small things that made the stay less pleasant. Overall I trust the house was cleaned well, but it’s just an old home with tough to clean wood floors. If we return we would consider staying again, but would check pricing and guest fees elsewhere first.

Nice Oasis in Niagara Falls Can

Beautiful old house with nice big inviting verandah to sit in peace and feel the breeze from nearby river. Beds were comfortable, house well stocked, hosts very nice people and responsive. Also gave us veggies from garden in back. Would def stay there again.

Definitely an adventure

When I booked this house, I didn’t realize the owner lived attached to the house until other reviews were posted about it. I had never experienced that before and found it very weird. I also didn’t realize that you have an additional price for a group over 10 people even though the house sleeps more than that. (We started out with 10, but 3 more were added when they found out they could get off work.) The owners are great though. Very nice and understanding and quick to answer any questions. Great people. The house is in a great location to town. It is a very old house and while it has it’s beauty from that, it also has it’s disadvantages. While there, we had a mishap with the bathtub, but the owner offered us a different place to stay since the water would be cut off. We needed up fixing the tub and didn’t have to move. We ended up having to go into the basement to cut the water off and my husband got ate up by something down there. There were cob webs and dust everywhere in the house. Several of us woke up with spider bites over the 2 nights we were there. One night there was a strong smell of someone (not any of us) smoking maryJ outside and it was strong through the living room. The window units really didn’t bother us because it wasn’t hot outside and the units kept the rooms cool. However, there was a lot of clutter. The kitchen is updated and nice. Also if you do book this house, keep your recycle stuff separate in the trash.

Just what we needed

Cool, old house. Layout was unique. Plenty of sleep space for the 12 of us. Linens, soaps, paper products provided. No central air, but individual units in bedrooms and common area. Quiet neighborhood, big porch to sit and relax, approximately 30 minute walk to the falls. Would recommend, it was convenient, plenty of space for all of us, allowed for family time, and the kids played games on the front lawn.

Large Home conveniently located

A group of 8 girls stayed at the home for 2 nights. The check in process was easy, and Jade was right there. We had everything we needed for our stay. The home was conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Niagara and not far from the wine tours. We felt safe where we were, and the home was clean!

Family-friendly

My family (siblings, our spouses, our kids and our parents) stayed for one night. The house easily accommodated our needs for both sleeping arrangements and space to relax and hang out. Jade answered our questions promptly and was open to our request for earlier check-in. The kitchen was well-equipped with lots of dishes, cutlery and glassss. Beds were good, towels were plentiful. All in all, the house was exactly what we needed for our short stay.

As Advertised

This property answered our family's need for four separate bedrooms and four separate baths. It's an older home with remodeled bathrooms and a large well-equipped and refurbished kitchen. Another great feature is that it's just two miles from the Canadian Falls. Owner/manager Jade lives right next door. She was responsive to our questions and even offered us some of her home-grown veggies.

5 day summer stay

I like the location and the host Jade is very responsive and helpful. The property overall is a bit old, though the kitchen and downstairs bedroom has been nicely updated. The communication is excellent and all amenities are readily available. My main concern is the electrical system of the building is not up to handling the job - we arrived in a heat wave and the ACs were tripping the fuse constantly. Luckily the heat subsided soon and it was all fine. The bigger problem is with the cooking stove and oven - because the electrical system is not good enough, it takes forever to heat up and we had great difficulty cooking our meals. This needs to be fixed. Other than that the front porch and gardens need to be tidied up. Overall I enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

House Has Great Potential!

A ton of space and very comfortable with unbeatable location. House needs some TLC and if the owners clean up their porch and their backyard and fix their front yard, it will vecome a true jewel. Please get rid of discarded furniture, sink, etc.... Thank you for your hospitality.

A Good deal to stay at Niagara Fall in Canada

This property is walking distance to the world famous Niagara Falls. It has newly renovated living room, kitchen and bedroom in first floor, you could visit the backyard mini farm garden by ower's approve, and taste the fresh, etc. It is unforgetable. Philip
