The neighborhood was very run down. The driveway was uneven to where the rental car bottomed out and got scratched up. There was hardly any room to get in and out of the car due to how cramped it was because of a fence, trashcans, and a wooden barrier. The house looked brand new online but when we got there we realized it was a very old home that had new flooring and paint. The first floor was very cramped and didnt have much room. The chair had stains on the seat, there were not any dishes to really cook with, the windows were very old and we noticed they were all unlocked, and there were only about 3 towels for everyone. Going up or down the stairs was very loud with the old creaking of the steps so we woke everyone up when we came downstairs. The upstairs had plenty of room and a huge bathroom. There was something either in the walls or on the roof that made a lot of noise to where we couldnt sleep at all though. We did notice some doors in the house that would not open which left an uneasy feeling as what was behind that. Overall the home was clean other than the seats. However, it was near downtown and it made travel easy. We never met the landlord and there was a coded lock on the door to allow entry and exit. I felt this was the same price as a hotel with less benefits. We had fun but I am glad we didnt stay more than a few days. There was not enough to do for more than a long weekend.
Would reccomend to a family that will not be cooking, brings there own towels, doesnt care about the neighborhood, and doesnt mind an older home.
